A Paradigm Shift💡 We're thrilled to share a recent feature on our CEO/Founder Francesca Cordeiro. In her interview with The Ophthalmologist, Professor Cordeiro discusses the critical importance of early intervention in the treatment outcomes of patients with neurodegenerative conditions typified by many of those affecting the retina. She discusses the groundbreaking development of DARC (Detection of Apoptosing Retinal Cells) and the now realistic ability to detect and quantify these earliest signs of disease. Moreover, due to their shared embryological provenience, she states, "Changes in the eye almost predict changes in the brain, providing a non-invasive window to view a world that is difficult to see directly in the brain." This forward-thinking approach highlights the importance of innovative research and early treatment strategies to prevent vision loss and neurodegeneration. It's an inspiring read that underlines the significant steps being made in our field. Publishing good science, without elitism and bias | Building a startup to change the publishing status quo. Regular posts & thoughts.
ScienceBank is making huge strides in revolutionizing academic publishing for researchers worldwide. Here is how it affects you. 1. Publishing communities enable collaboration through peer review. Experts generate and review content that sets the standards of the field. 2. Communities are independent and run by experienced professionals with domain experience. Work alongside domain leaders to progress your field. 3. Community profit sharing promotes the publication of underrepresented research, field-specific education, and charitable donations. 4. Gone are the days of busy academics donating their free time to large corporations. Researchers are now rewarded with cash for active participation in publishing content in their communities.
Ophthalmology researchers, share your findings! 👁️ We are announcing the launch of our new community edition, "Case Reports in Clinical Ophthalmology," led by Dr. Lucia Buendia, Chief-Editor of Clinical Ophthalmology and Ophthalmologist at the IMO Miranza and Puerta de Hierro University Hospital. 🔬 We invite all researchers to submit their case reports in English for this edition. Register and submit your manuscript: https://lnkd.in/djPNVu7x Review the criteria here: https://lnkd.in/dDeBnwtM Candidates with reports in other languages can email admin@sciencebank.com to discuss options. “Let’s create a future where technology empowers individuals—where data privacy is a fundamental right, and people have the power to control and benefit from their personal information.”
Healthcare cybersecurity has never been more critical, with the risks to patient safety and business continuity growing every day. At MyRxWallet, we understand the urgency of this challenge and are fully equipped to transform healthcare cybersecurity. Our blockchain-powered platform and tamper-proof technology ensure that patient data remains secure and immutable, virtually eliminating the threat of unauthorized access or data manipulation. With AI-driven monitoring, we offer real-time protection, detecting and neutralizing threats before they cause harm. By decentralizing data management through our Web3 infrastructure, we prevent single points of failure, dramatically reducing the risk of breaches that can compromise entire systems. At MyRxWallet, we’re not just meeting the moment; we’re redefining healthcare cybersecurity for the future.
