Plans to incorporate technology into the classroom could improve learning. But if not implemented thoughtfully, it could also leave students out. @meltzere @Chalkbeat @MindShiftKQED https://lnkd.in/eSxHVJSt

My thoughts about using technology in the classroom are, students and teachers can benefit from it greatly. Integrating technology can help students engage with criteria that may not be available per say just in a book. And teachers benefit from technology by having another tool under their belt to improve students learning.

My personal thoughts about using technology in the classroom Personally I believe that technology in the classroom is not only beneficial but also necessary at times. With technology as a tool teachers are able to provide more resources for their students to further understand topics within the classroom. With technology there is also more room for creativity and resource access which will allow for a smoother environment within the classroom. With how far technology has come and is going it is important that we begin to teach our students how to use technology to their advantage and efficiently especially in the academic world. #EDLT3110_SP24_m71_R1

Forgetting is human nature. But by using microlearning - delivering information in small, digestible chunks and repeating it over time - we can significantly enhance retention. Isn't it time we worked with our brains, not against them? A study performed by UC San Diego found that reinforcement lessons led to greater than 150% improvement of knowledge retention! #microlearning #knowledgeretention #innovation #LearntoWin

What are your thoughts about using technology in the classroom? To me, technology is crucial in the classroom. The invention of the calculator was a new technology once, that we are all comfortable with and depend on for many things now. It is continuously changing and evolving, and will forever continue to do so. We should embrace this and not be afraid of it. I want to learn as much as possible about integration of technology in the classroom and allow my students to be a part of learning from the things I learn as well. #EDLT3110_SU24_R1

On a mission to help reach quality education to each child even in the remotest part of my country I Propagating Holistic education I Helping implement HPC in schools
Technology has immense potential. However, navigating the tech landscape, in a classroom, can be overwhelming, and sometimes it feels like it adds another layer of complexity to the already demanding world of teaching and learning. So, the question becomes: how can we harness the power of technology to ease the teaching and learning process, not overcomplicate it? The key, in my opinion, lies in finding the sweet spot where technology complements and enhances the existing educational system, not replaces it. ✨ Where teachers spend less time grading papers and rummaging for relevant resources, and more time fostering creativity and critical thinking. 💫 #Technology #Teaching #Learning

Modern Learning. What is it? Simply, it’s an effort to bring modern tools, techniques and methodologies into every aspect of curriculum and classrooms. The reality is, the world around us has changed significantly but much of what happens in schools has not. I’ve spent the last 21 years honing my education technology skills. Much of the last several years, I have been formulating my thoughts on the topic of Modern Learning and have worked hard to usher this concept into education. I am now embarking upon a new chapter. If you are in education leadership and have an interest in taking your technology department into the future as a department of modern learning, let’s talk. If you are in other areas of education and are interested in ideas around bringing modern learning tools, techniques and methodologies into your classroom or your school, let’s talk. I am officially beginning The Modern Learning Collaborative as a way to connect and collaborate on the topic of Modern Learning. Follow along on the socials at @mlcollaborative and at mlcollaborative.org as I start to post and share content around these ideas and the future of education technology (hint: it’s more about the learning than it is about the technology!). I hope you join me on this journey and reach out if you’re interested in talking. #modernlearning #mlcollaborative #education #edtech

Technology opens the door to immense wonder and exploration in the classroom. I have started a Padlet of technology I use in my classroom. I have shared this with the faculty at my school, but why not share with everyone?! Here you will find important links, examples of how I use it, and student samples where appropriate. Let me know what your favorite technology tool is! I may just have to try it out and add it to the Padlet 😀 https://lnkd.in/eGwng-3q
