I think we are not doing enough as Christians. We are not loud enough about our Faith. We are not fully embracing our responsibility.
I often ask myself, how has evil thrived in our world today?
They say that good will always triumph over evil, but that does not seem to be the case in our world today because good has chosen to remain silent on many fronts.
First, when evil is introduced, we tend to ignore it. We stay silent because we lack the courage to confront the evil. Then, it slowly creeps into our subconscious, and people start to see it as insignificant. This cycle continues, and it eventually becomes a part of our culture.
And as it is passed on to the next generation, it transforms into a tradition that becomes extremely difficult to break. Before we know it, a lie becomes the truth, and wrong is accepted as good.
It's no wonder that the scriptures say, "For the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light."
So the question, I guess, is what do they know? what information do they have that gives them the leverage to rule the world? why aren't the children of light controlling the affairs of the world?
The children of this world are loud, even in error and wickedness, yet the children of light are quiet, hiding in their spaces. This is why their ideologies and philosophies will continually thrive because those with the right information will rather choose to be quiet about it.
This is how evil always wins over good.
If we will take over this world and establish God's kingdom on Earth, then we must be much louder. Be loud about your faith, about your values, about your convictions. Let the world be clear about what you stand for and know the boundaries you are not willing to cross or negotiate.
We must hold the fort. We must keep on the firing line. We must fill the world with our ideologies unless darkness will take over this world, and yet there are children of light but their light has been shunned by darkness.
