Which way feels like yours? Start with a gentle push off the dock. No need to rush. Begin with a simple glide. Keep sailing, even when the wind drops. You'll reach the shore you want if you just keep going. Remember, the journey matters more than the speed. You CANNOT change the direction of the wind but you CAN adjust your sail. What a great analogy for life. We often get stuck in changing market conditions, caught up in what our competitors are doing, or blown off course by personal events. We forget that not only are we on our own boat, but we are ultimately responsible for adjusting our sails. Another perspective to keep in mind is that the world in which no wind is blowing means there is no wind in your sails. The constant wind is a requirement for us to navigate life. Cole’s routing to Spain and estimated finish time 👇 Chelsea Freas, Cole Brauer's meteorologist and router has published an update on Cole’s routing and her  estimated finish time. "Typical Route: Sailors can't sail directly to Spain due to the Azores high and NE winds, so they must go ‘round or cut through the high, and try to ‘catch a ride’ on a weather system moving from west to east. So typically routes take the sailors close to the Azores, sometimes even further north, before they cut over to Spain. FYI the estimated finish time on the GSC website is based on one particular track that the race organizers have set. The competitors can and do deviate from this, sometimes by hundreds of miles, to get into better weather or move faster. That is where I come in 😊 So her ETA is always changing and could be off from our routing estimates by several days. The dates of Cole’s finish window probably won’t be truly narrowed down until she is much further north in the Atlantic." Chelsea Freas. The estimated time of arrival shown on the GSC website is given by the distance to finish calculated along the red route, which is the median seasonal route, if sailed at the average speed that Cole has sailed at until now.
