📢 I don’t know who needs to hear this but… - Being out of residency/graduation does not mean things get better/easier in your career right away. It’s going to take time to settle into your new role & that’s okay! - It’s still hard to simultaneously find work/life balance and feel confident in your clinical knowledge. How do you provide optimal patient care while trying to leave on time? How do you continue to stay on top of literature without taking work home/sacrificing your peace outside of work? It’s still a constant battle! - You might even second guess if the area of specialty or pharmacy in general was the right choice for you (like, I made it but this is really it?! Do I really want to do this?!) there will be good and there will be bad days. - In summary: Be patient with yourself in this transition. It’s okay that everything doesn’t feel “perfect” like you might have envisioned it would. Take it day by day. You got this!
