We know that one of the best ways to learn is through hands-on experience in real-life settings, and two students in our student program got to do just that at a pickleball event. Select Medical recently sponsored the Select Medical Orange County Cup for the third consecutive year, and students Naomi and Andrew joined our clinician team in providing evaluations and care to participants. The number of privately held independent medical practices has decreased from 60.1% in 2012 to approximately 45% in 2022. We believe this due in large part to the lack of emphasis on business and management in our medical education system. We don’t have time to wait for our educational system to change we must lead the change.
