Do you measure your health with a scale? We often look at the number on the scale and metrics like our BMI to tell us whether we are healthy, but our well-being is more complex than a number! There are far better ways to measure your progress that have nothing to do with pounds! 🏃♀️ Think about how your body feels when you move. Do you have the energy to play with your kids or pets? Can you move in ways that bring you joy? These are indicators of physical health that matter in your day-to-day life. 🥘 Consider your relationship with food. Are you enjoying a variety of nourishing meals that leave you feeling satisfied and energized? Have you found a balance that allows you to savor your favorite treats without guilt? That's a sign of a healthy approach to eating. 🧠 Don't forget about your mental health – it's a crucial part of overall wellness. Are you managing your stress? Do you wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day? Can you find moments of joy and peace in your daily routine? Remember, your ideal state of health is unique to you. It's not about conforming to someone else's standards or chasing an arbitrary number on the scale. It's about feeling strong, confident, and capable, both physically and mentally. Embrace your path to wellness in all its forms. Your body is amazing, and it deserves to be appreciated for all it can do, not just how much it weighs. #nonscalevictory #weight #healthylifestyle #sizebias #weightbias #nomorescale #loveyourbody #keynotespeaker
