True leadership often involves resilience, creativity, and the ability to adapt to challenges. Strong leaders will find ways to navigate obstacles, inspire their teams, and achieve their goals, even in difficult situations. This mindset is what often sets successful leaders apart—they focus on solutions and persevere until they reach their objectives.

Bill Bellichek was the head coach of the Cleveland Browns, Nick Saban was his defensive coordinator. THEY WERE BOTH FIRED ‼️ Bellichek went on to win 6 Super Bowls. Saban went on to win 7 NCAA national championships. Bellichek and Saban were NOT the problem. The Browns front office and culture were the problem. Someones inability to value your gifts, does not diminish your gifts. Go prove them wrong 🔥

Last night’s game was more than just baseball—it was a masterclass in thrill and skill! Had an unforgettable night out at the New York Yankees spring training game with the boys. Huge shout out to Gene Cabrera for getting us all together. The atmosphere was electric, and the game? Absolutely thrilling. Giancarlo Stanton stole the show, hitting 3 for 3 with two home runs, a grand slam, and a sacrifice fly! Witnessing such mastery from the stands was nothing short of wild! This level of performance doesn’t happen every day. As a lifelong baseball fan, these moments are pure joy. But it also got me thinking about the bigger picture. Among the crowd were countless Yankees fans, many visiting Tampa just for this. It sparked a question: how can we in hospitality create unforgettable experiences for guests like these? Let’s dive into the guest experience: • How often do you view your offerings through your guests’ eyes? • Are you collaborating with local attractions to enhance your guests’ stays? • What innovative approaches are you taking to exceed guest expectations? Keen to hear your thoughts and experiences. Let’s get the conversation going! #Hospitality #GuestExperience #Yankees #BaseballLove #MakingMemories

🥇 🏉 Communication is KEY 🏉 🥇 There's a lot of lessons corporate and tactical teams can take from watching sports! One of these lessons is about the important of effective (verbal/nonverbal) communication. The clip below is from the 2015 Ruby Final match between the New Zealand All Blacks vs. the Australia Wallabies. A couple of key points I want to point out from this clip: 1. Richie McCaw’s Leadership: As captain, Richie McCaw was constantly communicating with his teammates, directing them in both attack and defense. His leadership and clear communication set up the play leading to Barrett's try. 2. The Setup Play: Before Barrett scored, the All Blacks executed a series of well-coordinated passes and offloads, showing excellent communication among the players to maintain the flow of the game and break through the Australian defense. 3. Beauden Barrett’s Anticipation: Barrett’s awareness and communication with his teammates allowed him to identify the gap and sprint down the field to score the try. His ability to read the game and communicate his intentions resulted in one of the most memorable moments of the final. Now, applying that to your team, we see that effective communication comes from the TOP. Leadership is responsible for setting the expectation and overseeing the execution of effective communication and mission success. Let me show you some skills that you can put in to practice that will help you take your team to the next level and get you communicating for success. #communication #performance #rugby #sportpsychology #coaching #teamwork #leadership #professionaldevelopment #keynote #publicspeaking #teambuilding #sports #corporate #tactical #effective #execute #goals #success https://lnkd.in/ghwNHCHf

How would you feel if your boss hired pickpockets to teach you to be more aware? According to the Athletic, Mikel did this at a recent team dinner. At the end of the night, he asked players to empty their pockets. And many were already empty. Awareness is the key to excellence in any walk of life. Premier league players are aware of nearly the double the data of their championship counterparts when they receive the ball. It’s definitely a great thing to work on. However, I would add two caveats: It has to be context specific. Learning to be more aware in the dining room might not translate to the pitch. You have to do the work on the pitch. And secondly, an equally important aspect for elite players is learning to relax. This can be tough for players. They are often in a focussed state and encouraging them to do this in all areas might be a mistake. Learning the difference between focussed alertness and relaxation is key. One things for certain. Mikel will leave no stone unturned in his drive to win. #arsenal #premierleague #performance #football

There's an important component to add here, I think, and that is the power of metaphor. They weren't really going to learn alertness by having their pockets picked at dinner and only being told about it after the fact. But they will surely remember the lesson to be aware the next time they're on the pitch—possibly by Mikel or the captain yelling "don't get your pocket picked!" An old boss of mine espoused "lateral thinking," i.e. the ability to take an example that's familiar to a player (or employee) and turn it into a memorable experience not in spite of but because of its juxtaposition to their standard routine. IMO lateral thinking separates good coaches (and leaders) from great ones. It's the fertilizer for inspiration and motivation.

The New York Mets are Rally’s first MLB ⚾ team partners!!! Like so many immigrants, Queens was where my family first landed. And the first route we're promoting is from Long Island, where we moved as our family grew. This all feels like coming home. 🤗 New Yorkers are spoiled for transportation choices. So as a founder I didn't really prioritize my home’s teams. There's a reason why the Packers, the Bills, and the Rams were our first markets. Still, I knew that the bus rideshare would work in this greatest of cities too. That it is not a matter of any one transportation option - the answer is always all of the above. 💯 I commend the Mets for leading the way on this multimodal strategy. In addition to their car lot, they have light rail, subway, transit buses, and bikes; and now with Rally, their first ever intercity bus 🚌 rideshare. We're looking forward to the partnership showing the rest of the league how to improve the fan experience. As they say, if you can make it here 🗽, you can make it anywhere. PS: These are all my own personal thoughts ( Not my Tribes) and understanding of the history, regulation and contemplation over the elephant in the room, any new VALID info to change my mind is welcomed: "The States should not even have the authority or lack of regulation and oversight to knight ANY tribe they please given they the states are not all going by the same standards of verification and authentication and have less strenuous standards compared to the Federal level, but I can see the further west we go towards California Tribes I understand there are SOME cases where the state recognition is making up where the Federal level failed overall. At this point there needs to be a halt or freeze in on recognitions before greedy states and ill-willed start up tribes jeopardize and diminish the Sovereignty of Real Tribes whatever that means . Thanks for posting and bringing more attention and discussion to this HOT topic that needs a 5- 10 yr Investigation and planning Commission with heavily infused tribal input. All this I say because I care for the future of Sovereignty and observation of an issue that has been unchecked and put off for way too long.
