Did you know that there is a luxury hotel in one of the buildings in La Plaza Mayor of Madrid? Completed in 1619, it initially served as the Casa de la Carnicería (House of the Butchery), regulating the city's meat supply. Over time, it underwent several renovations, eventually transforming into a luxury hotel that is one of our favorites in the city. The hotel retains its Baroque façade and blends historical charm with modern amenities, offering guests a unique experience in one of Madrid's most iconic locations. Did you guess which hotel we are talking about? Write us in the comments! #Madrid #PlazaMayor #LuxuryHotel #Travel #HistoricalBuildings #HotelLife #TravelExperience

IDEA | STRATEGY | EXECUTION. My passion is making brands better one great idea at a time. Our focus: Guest Experiences. The end goal is create guest experiences where the experience becomes the brand.
What Comes After the Letter V? W, Of Course! The W Hotel is one of my favorite Marriott brands, and after traveling to several of their locations, it's clear that their branding consistency is unmatched. From the guest engagement to the first impressions wow factor, the W Hotel brand delivers a unique experience every time. I've had the pleasure of visiting W Hotels in Paris, New York, Atlanta, Montreal, Dubai, Guangzhou, Barcelona, and of course, my home base, Toronto. One standout feature that I appreciate is the time-of-day greetings on the entrance and elevator mats—small touches that make a big impact. The entrance mat in Paris once announced that rain was in the forecast! Here are five reasons why the W Hotel stands out as one of the best hospitality brands in the world: 1. Consistency – No matter where you go, the brand experience is reliably top-notch. 2. Iconic Spaces – Prime locations in world-class cities, known for their unforgettable settings. 3. Distinct Designs – Stylish, modern, and full of personality, with attention to detail that sets them apart. 4. Wow Factor – From style to service, every element is crafted to impress. 5. Time-of-Day Greetings – Unique mats greet you with “Good morning,” “Good afternoon,” or “Good evening,” reflecting on their attention to detail and cleanliness. There’s no question that once you’ve stayed at one W, you know what makes them different—style, exclusivity, and an elevated sense of hospitality. #ElevatedHospitality #Marriott #WHotels #Guestexperience

The best luxury hotels obsess over just about everything, from the food to the furnishings. Yet one area that seldom gets much attention is sound—though this is starting to change with the rise of listening bars and audiophile venues. While plenty of travel experiences will feature music, these unique experiences place it front-and-center, with highly quality audio equipment and a well-maintained record collection. Hotels could potentially find inspiration here as an alternative to the bustling lobby bar. Hardly standard, but something that all true luxury travelers value: rare and hyper-specialized experiences you cannot get anywhere else. #LuxuryExperience #HotelIndustry #LuxuryTravel

Misalignment in traditional third-party management companies, where managers get paid on revenue, but owners get paid based on profit, was a key takeaway for me in the latest Hospitable podcast featuring Saxton Sharad, CEO of Revival Hotels. He highlights how these decisions can boost revenue but not necessarily profit. Saxton’s vision of aligning these goals to create better guest experiences is really insightful. 🎧 Definitely worth a listen for anyone interested in the future of boutique hotels and hospitality! #HospitablePodcast #RevivalHotels #BoutiqueHotels #HospitalityInnovation #GuestExperience #InvisibleHospitality

Understanding the difference between ApartHotels and Traditional Hotels The distinction between Aparthotels and traditional hotels is nuanced, as seen in this video of an Adina Apartment Hotel. This evolution may seem to blur the lines with traditional hotels, but distinct differences remain and are shaped by the evolving expectations of today's travellers. While both offer unique experiences, their differences cater to specific consumer needs. Traditional hotels, with their array of facilities, activities, and dining experiences, focus on creating a comprehensive hospitality environment, often leading to smaller room sizes. Aparthotels, on the other hand, prioritise larger living spaces, offering amenities like laundry facilities, kitchenettes, and dining areas, albeit with fewer on-site amenities. This contrast is a reflection of their targeted market segments, with Aparthotels appealing to those seeking a more homelike experience during their travels, while hotels cater to those desiring a full-service stay. This divergence highlights the rich diversity in accommodation options, addressing the varied preferences of modern travellers. #RealEstateTrends #BrandedResidences #LuxuryLiving #RealEstateInnovation #LuxuryBrands #GlobalHotspots https://lnkd.in/g5W5kMu6
