Here's some old man game for you: "If you ever want to know who your real enemy is...stop fighting who you're fighting and see who shows up." This piece of wisdom suggests that your true adversary might not be the person or group you're currently in conflict with. Instead, by ceasing your efforts against them, you can observe who steps in to continue the conflict or takes advantage of the situation. This person or entity is likely your real enemy, as they have a vested interest in the continuation of your struggle. It encourages a strategic pause and a broader perspective, allowing you to identify underlying forces or hidden opponents who might be orchestrating or benefiting from the conflict.

10 Laws of Maturity: 💯 ➪ Never put too much trust in friends, learn how to use enemies. ➪ Always say less than necessary. ➪ Never appear too perfect. ➪ Master the art of timing. ➪ Win through your actions, never through argument. ➪ Do not go past the mark you aimed for, in victory, learn when to stop. ➪ Do not build fortresses to protect yourself - isolation is dangerous. ➪ Use absence to increase respect and honor. ➪ Concentrate your forces. ➪ Think as you like but behave like others.

The strategy "Kill with a borrowed knife (Jie Dao Sha Ren)" is another of the Thirty-Six Stratagems of ancient Chinese warfare, focusing on the idea of using someone else's resources, power, or influence to achieve your goals without directly engaging or taking responsibility. Here’s the logic behind this strategy: Indirect Control: Instead of confronting your opponent directly, you manipulate or use a third party to do the work for you. This allows you to achieve your goal while keeping yourself removed from the conflict or danger. Deception and Manipulation: The key to this strategy is to deceive others into fighting your battles or carrying out your objectives. By doing this, you avoid direct involvement, letting someone else face the consequences while you benefit from the outcome. Preservation of Resources: By using another party's strength (the "borrowed knife"), you conserve your own resources and energy, allowing you to stay strong while others weaken themselves in the conflict. Exploiting Rivalries: This tactic often involves taking advantage of existing tensions or rivalries between other parties. By inciting conflict between others, you avoid direct confrontation and can come out stronger while your rivals or enemies are weakened by their engagement. This strategy exemplifies clever manipulation and foresight, where victory is achieved through the use of others, preserving one’s own position while causing damage to opponents.

Close the gaps! “Those who don’t know how to control themselves are as defenseless as a city without walls.” Proverbs 25:28 Today's Reflection compares the lack of self-control to a city without security. Imagine your life like this city. If you are not “safe” through self-control, you will be more exposed to challenges and problems. Having control over your actions and reactions is like building protective walls, keeping you safer and prepared to face life's situations. It is a reflection on how self-control can be crucial in dealing with daily adversities. The enemy is all around us looking for an opening to engulf us. If you do not watch your own domain, you will give the enemy an opening. Anyone who does not have control over their actions is a weak person. God wants to make you strong, close the gaps! Amen?! Have a great day!

The Maker and Master “Man is made or unmade by himself. He forges the weapons by which he destroys himself in the armoury of thoughts; he also fashions the tools with which he builds for himself heavenly mansions of joy and strength and peace. By the right choice and true application of thought, man ascends to Divine Perfection. By the abuse and wrong application of thought, he descends below the level of the beast. Between these two extremes are all the grades of character, and man is their maker and master.” - Chapter -1: Thought and Character, As a man thinketh by James Allen
