Our president, Timothy Han, recently participated in a panel at the PCIM 2024 conference in Nuremberg, Germany, moderated by Maurizio Di Paolo Emilio, Editor-in-Chief of Power Electronics News. The discussion focused on the expanding application space of gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC) power semiconductors, highlighting the increasingly stringent reliability and quality requirements. Check out this article summarizing the panel's insights on the current status and future outlook. 👉 https://lnkd.in/en9tA7hT #SiC #SiliconCarbide #Semiconductor #MOSFETs #PowerModules #Diodes #QSiC #MOSFETModules #PCIMEurope #PCIM
It's really nice to hear you are now the president of SemiQ Inc. I hope to see you soon, Dr. Han and Dr. Lee.
President at SemiQ, Inc.
3moIt was my honor to share the quality and reliability issues of wide bandgap devices, GaN and SiC, to the audience in power industries. I am also appreciate to the moderator Maurizio and other panel list, Alex, Thierry, and Kevin. I believe that SemiQ's Known Good Die (KGD) program is a solution to eliminate the week devices by intensive wafer label burn-in and screening processes. KGD should be an ultimate way to overcome the quality problems of SiC MOSFETs for automotive applications.
