This is a great milestone for Internet Protocol Media Experience (IPMX) as it becomes an open specification. The low latency capabilities of #5G are of great interest to the broadcasting sector. 🌐 However, despite its performance potential, challenges remain. The volume of data that needs to be transported over the network in real-time often far exceeds the capacity of the network. The solution tested as part of the proof of concept (PoC) in Deutsche Telekom’s labs was designed to overcome this challenge.
