Voting has just begun for SXSW Sydney 🎉 This year, we want James Chin Moody to take the stage and deep dive into the modern day David v Goliath battle that’s gripping our economy. We’ll examine the risk of putting power in the hands of only a few major players and the balance between stability and market diversity. And, don’t miss the chance to hear from Laura Hill and eBay’s Rebecca Newton as they discuss the rise of the second-hand marketplace. The local market is valued at over $60B and is largely driven by consumers’ sustainability concerns and cost savings. In the process, the second-hand marketplace is also disrupting traditional retail models. Help us get on stage by voting for our sessions👇before April 22 🙏 1) David vs Goliath: How to take down a monopoly 2) From rags to riches, the rise of the second-hand marketplace https://lnkd.in/g5hR23Wb #SXSW #Smallbusiness #shiponthebrightside #Sendle

The stock market is in a crisis and it is being exacerbated by the City not realising why the market is in a crisis. Regulatory changes or tax cuts won’t spur retail investor activity. They’re for the birds. Promoting the stock market and enacting a cultural change is the solution. We can’t expect millions of people to buy UK stocks they’re unaware of.
