Most “Top XYZ tool lists” are just arbitrary. Let me sandwich my tiny startup tool next to the big names so I seem bigger. I want to know what tools you actually USE and how they are performing for you. So to kick off, I made that video with the awesome team at Videodeck, covering AI tools that me and my team actually use and get value from… ActiveCampaign -> I love that AC gears it’s AI functionality towards results and not just variation for novelties sake. Predictive sending, conditional content, sentiment analysis, generative AI are the bedrock, but the pushing the envelope stuff like AI brand kits and the AI automation builders is so exciting. AC is giving businesses big data intelligence to power a small team’s marketing strategy. OpusClip -> I have generated over 600,000 views on short-form content with my series Impromptu chats and a huge reason I have been able to output so many video posts (50+ this quarter) is because of tools like Opus Clip. Opus Clip takes a long-form clip, like a podcast interview, automatically parses it into social media clips, captions it, adds b-roll and effects/transitions and tells you what content is likely to perform the best. It’s not just a video editor, it’s literally using an algo keyed into social media to identify virality potential. No surprise Jason Lemkin named them his top AI platform for 2024 in an interview I did with him and that they tore to 8 figures in ARR just 2 years after being founded. Sendspark -> There are a lot of video tools in the market, but for a long time it seemed like everyone was just trying to mirror Loom. But Sendspark is tackling a different problem. Personalization at scale, by using AI videos/voice to allow one video to speak in a tailored way to thousands. I find engagement from campaigns run through ActiveCampaign + Sendspark (they have a great integration) is very high, with reply rates hitting 3-4x normal reply rates.
