HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! The word of God reminds us in Ecclesiastes 7:12 that “wisdom is a defense, as MONEY IS A DEFENSE!” And sadly enough, for the overwhelming majority of Americans in today’s economy (especially in communities of color) - WE ARE DEFENSELESS. Record inflation and rising mortgage rates, compounded by systemic inequities, has interrupted our ability to raise capital for our businesses, which is WHY I CREATED ACCESS GRANTED. It’s also the reason why if you are reading this message, MY TEAM NEEDS YOUR HELP. In 2020 alone (during the height of the pandemic), 41% of BLACK BUSINESS OWNERS went completely OUT OF BUSINESS! Not because they didn’t have the drive or the competitive intelligence to run a business, but simply because they did not have enough WORKING CAPITAL to sustain their business! I designed Access Granted as a “CLARION CALL” if you will… To equip small business owners, entrepreneurs, and startups in historically marginalized and economically disenfranchised communities with the FINANCIAL EDUCATION, CAPACITY BUILDING TOOLS, and FUNDING RESOURCES they need to grow, scale, and sustain their businesses.  Especially in times like this! The fact is, you can have all the motivation and brilliant ideas you want, but without CAPITAL, you CAN NOT run a business successfully.
