🚚 This week, transport ministers from around the world are gathering at the ITF - International Transport Forum in Leipzig, Germany, to discuss the decarbonization of the transport industry. In line with this important event, Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg #24 #Inforadio interviewed our CEO and co-founder, David Nothacker, about practical solutions for electrifying road logistics. Our collaborative answer with Scania Group is our joint venture, JUNA Technologies. By adopting a pay-per-use model, JUNA removes the financial barriers for small carriers to use electric trucks, which are typically 2-3 times more expensive than diesel trucks. Through sennder, we guarantee full utilization of the trucks, ensuring carriers face no economic risk. Emission-free supply chains - that is an important goal of the automotive industry. We are proud that Duvenbeck, as a specialist for these transports, now relies on MAN eTrucks. On the 5th of December, the first MAN eTGX Ultra Low Liner was handed over in Munich. Duvenbeck is planning to use it for their services in the supply chain for Volkswagen in the Rhine-Ruhr region and BeNeLux. No other series-produced electric semi-trailer tractor can pull trailers with an interior height of three meters, which makes the MAN eTGX Ultra Low Liner the perfect fit to the high transport volume the automotive industry demands. And according to the LOI signed by both parties, Duvenbeck intends to put up to 120 units of the MAN eTGX into service by 2026. To a bright and emission free future!
