#Bronchiectasis is a heterogenous condition defined by a clinical syndrome with abnormal airway dilatation seen on chest CT scan. Important associated symptoms, including chronic productive cough, increased volume and purulence of sputum, and recurrent acute respiratory exacerbations have substantial impact on patients’ lives. This review highlights the substantial #economic burden of bronchiectasis for #patients and #health systems, but there was a notable absence of data regarding the impact of bronchiectasis in children, and in economically disadvantaged communities. https://lnkd.in/dnWedg6P

Access to care In some communities, access to quality healthcare services and resources for diabetes management is limited or nonexistent.
