🤖Today is Tech Tuesday!🤖 💨 In the pursuit of improving air quality in various environments, such as #homes, #offices, and #hospitals, there is an escalating demand for sensors capable of detecting #CO₂ and various other gases. ❗TDK is developing a CO₂ gas sensor that is significantly smaller in size than previous sensors and consumes less power. 💡 Our CO₂ sensor enables various applications in devices that were previously unsuitable for installation. Examples of these applications include a mobile air quality monitor that allows easy measurement of the air environment in rooms, and a vehicle air environment monitor to support safe driving during long-distance trips. 👀 To learn more about it, check below 👇: https://bit.ly/3uwjYL4 #TDK #AttractingTommorrow #gassensor #CO2

TGS5000 Series Carbon Monoxide Sensors are used in various applications to prevent poisoning accidents. ・When kerosene, gasoline, or other carbon-containing fuel is burned, insufficient oxygen would cause incomplete combustion, producing carbon monoxide (CO), which can cause health problems and, in the worst case, be fatal. Because CO is odorless and colorless, we cannot see or smell it. That’s why we need a CO sensor to detect it. ・CO sensors are used in various applications such as ・Residential areas ・Restaurants ・Factories ・Recreational vehicles ・Underground parking lots. ・Portable generators are easy to carry and are used at outdoor events such as campgrounds and during natural disasters. Many of them are equipped with CO sensors because they would cause CO poisoning if used indoors. ・Fire alarms with CO sensors can detect fires in their early stages, allowing people to escape before the fire spreads. ・Even low levels of CO have been reported to have adverse health effects, and CO sensors are also expected to be used in the healthcare sector in the future. ・Gas sensors connected to smart home assistants will make them more convenient and useful for people in the future. The Figaro TGS5000 series is a long-life electrochemical CO sensor. More than 100 million TGS5000 series sensors have been sold worldwide, especially in North America, where many CO poisoning accidents still occur when using heating equipment. TGS5000 Series CO sensors will continue to ensure safety and health in every aspect of our daily lives. So, check it out! https://lnkd.in/gtZzEWar #carbonmonoxide #safety #figaro #gas #gassensor

Entry into the EV battery coolant sensor market SEMITEC proposed thermistors that can detect changes in coolant temperature with high sensitivity; quickly redesigned the inner structure of water temperature sensors to achieve required performance at low cost, and swiftly responded to customer requests in a timely manner to resolve the problems. Since entering the market, we have delivered about 2 million water temperature sensors and gained recognition as a supplier of reliable temperature sensors with almost no problems in quality and delivery. In addition to resolving battery cooling problems, we developed a system that controls the thermal management of the entire vehicle via circulating coolant. This system is now being put to practical use. It is expected that the number of thermistors installed in electric vehicles will further increase in the future as the electrification of vehicles accelerates.
