As we continue our celebration of #Pride month, allow us to introduce you to Julian Hernandez, Lead Associate on Sequoia's Global Advisory Team! We asked him to explain what Pride month means to him, and this was his response: “Pride is a month of reflection of how grateful I am to be where I am today. I was outed at 18, and my conservative family had a hard time accepting it. 11 years later, I can definitely say it gets better. To celebrate Pride month, I will be participating in the Mexico City Parade to reflect on how proud I am of everything I’ve accomplished despite the hurdles, as well on how far we still have to go as a country/community.” Thank you so much for sharing with us, Julian!

Recently, I had the privilege of attending Raptee.HV's first motorcycle rolloff event, thanks to my wife Vinothini R P. What struck me the most was the admiration I felt for the way they were building their brand from the ground up. As I observed the event and interacted with their team, it became evident that they were laying the foundation for success by prioritizing their company culture. Here are a few key takeaways from what I witnessed: - Ethical Leadership: Raptee's CEO, Dinesh Arjun, exudes integrity and transparency, setting a high standard for ethical business practices. Their zero-tolerance policy towards unethical behavior is admirable and reinforces their commitment to doing business the right way. - Mission Driven Approach: The company's mission and vision statements were not just words on paper; they were guiding principles that informed every decision. It was inspiring to see how they aligned their actions with their long-term goals and values. - Family Environment: Despite the rapid growth, they managed to maintain a sense of camaraderie and inclusion among their team members. The atmosphere felt like a supportive family, where everyone was valued and appreciated. - Recognition and Empowerment: Every member of the team, including their families, was celebrated for their contributions. By acknowledging the impact each individual made, they fostered a sense of pride and ownership among their workforce. In conclusion, what I witnessed at the event reaffirmed my belief that building a strong company culture is fundamental to success. By prioritizing integrity, unity, and a sense of family, Raptee.HV is not only building a brand but also laying the groundwork for lasting success. It was a reminder that in the fast-paced world of business, the right culture can truly set a company apart. #raptee #EV

CS Undergrad at Deccan College of Engineering and Technology | EdVenture Park B23 Incubatee | Campus Lead at EdVenture Park | Coding Enthusiast | Aspiring Game Developer | Adept Public Speaker
Being a part of an organization is tough. You have to maintain the culture and vibe of the workspace, be on the same page with everyone irrespective of their difference in opinions, and above all, fight tooth and nail against everyone who thinks you are a waste of time, ESPECIALLY when you're making waves, and all eyes are on you, like carrying a bullseye on your back. Hence, no wonder why many organizations crumble before they can even begin. And even if they do survive, there is often very little to salvage from. However, being a Founders' Friday lead at EdVenture Park has taught me that, with the right people and the right mindset, it is still possible to make it all happen. Organizing THE flagship event of EVP every month, launching companies into the market, bringing in quality crowd, changing the conversations, these are some of the few things that are improbable, but not impossible. When you believe in something hard enough, the dots will connect on their own, and you'll find your path in due time. Is it very tough? YESSSS. Will we still make it happen? HELLL YESSSSSSS! cc: Meraj Faheem, Simrah Munaza Ikram, Arma Sahar, Sayeeda Jabri, Mohammad Ansab Ali Ansari, Nisa Rahman, Zainab Khatoon, Uzma Khatoon, Khaja T., Mohammed Shoaib Choudry, Zahra A., Syed Abdullah Masood, Aliya Noorain

A message from our Founder Crystal I. Berger (As Seen on FOX)🌟 Embracing Growth and Commitment 🚀 Whew LinkedIn Fam, the journey of a founder is a rollercoaster, but oh, the thrill of it all! 😄 Today, I want to share a heartfelt shout-out to everyone who's been part of the incredible EBO, Corp. journey since Day One. hashtag #FounderLand is never dull, but the impact we make is what truly matters. Intent doesn't negate impact, and that realization fuels our commitment to growth and doing the work that matters. It's been an awe-inspiring ride, breaking through barriers to secure funding and becoming the 0.41% of black women to receive venture funding for a tech platform. A marvel in itself! In refining our mission to deliver dynamic talent representing all voices, we recently took a bold step. A mailer to our media partners, extending opportunities to our earliest adopters for impactful bookings during Black History Month. As a founder, I must own that our intentions, though pure, fell short in providing proper notice to some of our cherished early adopters. We were simply "doing the work" promised from the start – getting diverse talent booked. At EBO, we pride ourselves on making bookings fast, efficient, and inclusive. Every talent we've offered, whether through our platform or mailers, has willingly opted into EBO's terms of service. To our users, potential partners, and earliest adopters, we sincerely hope you're still committed to our mission and vision. If not, reach out, and while we'd hate to see you go, we'll gladly remove you from our database as we grow. Our commitment is unwavering, and it's an honor to undertake this meaningful work. Each instance of growth is critical for our real-time impact, and for that, we are truly grateful. 🙏💫 In the meantime, LET'S GO! It's time to get more dynamic talent seen and heard and we'll keep getting better in the process. We came up with interesting stats that wrap up our last 30 years at Arellano Associates. 🧮 Many of these milestones would not be possible without the power of partnership, including our valued connections with community stakeholders, teaming partners, and, of course, our dedicated team members. #NationalSiblingDay has us reflecting on the most common question we get asked: "What's it like running a business with your sister?" From shared visions to sisterly disagreements, navigating the entrepreneurial path alongside family brings a unique blend of challenges and rewards. But through it all, we've discovered that the bond of sisterhood adds an extra layer of strength, resilience, and understanding to the business dynamic. “We often joke that if Ariel and I were flying a plane, Ariel would be up in the air with no fuel and no engine, but I’d be on the runway charting the course and looking at the weather,” says Hannah Redmond, MBA. “Together though, it’s the perfect partnership of skills, resulting in successful takeoff, smooth flight, and safe landing.” ✈️ It is more than just a playful analogy; it underscores the dynamic synergy within the sisters’ partnership. Each brings a unique set of strengths and skills to the table, forming a cohesive and complementary team. “Together, we navigate challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and drive our business forward,” says Ariel Redmond. “We see our no-filter communication and working even during family dinners and vacations as a true superpower because it allows us to push our work further no matter where we are, with no sugar coating or delay. Simply put, we're stronger together, and we couldn't imagine this journey without each other.” #sistersinbusiness #womenowned #smallbusiness #sisterbiz

What makes me proud as we approach our first anniversary at B. Partners? The incredible community of leaders, innovators, and change-makers we've built who are boldly building a better future. And we’re just getting started! 🚀 Ariana and I originally set out to "B." the change we wanted to see. We wanted B. Partners to be the place where: 🔮 Bold new ideas rooted in solid business growth strategy were fearlessly explored, therefore generating unprecedented returns 🔮 Collaboration, creativity and excellence were the norm--not ego or status quo 🔮 People with new/different perspectives (𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘴) felt supported to be their authentic selves rather than pressured into assimilation Sometimes at first, it felt like an impossible task. Now almost year in, I can attest to the fact that there ARE many folks out there who share these values. 🌟 They're leading top-tier organizations boldly into the future and assembling allstar teams to make it happen. 🌟 They're the undersung rockstars already leading internal divisions to new heights. 🌟 They're tomorrow's workforce full of energy, brilliant insights, new skills and passion to see the status quo change. It's incredible what can happen when you are true to yourself, especially when that's not the "norm". 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿: 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲. Here's to the future! 🥂

This is a watershed year for Entytle, Inc.. We celebrate our 10th anniversary - which by itself is an achievement in the world of entrepreneurship. But in a twist, we plan to recognize multiple dates during the year that are meaningful to the formation of this company. Every organization has dates that hold special significance to the origin story. Back in 2013, my friend Steve Uhlir and I had stepped away from our respective professional endeavors, and we started discussing various problems that we had encountered during our 12+ years of working together. Specifically, he and I had spent time in a large Services organization - him as the VP of Engineering, and me as VP of Marketing. So we naturally gravitated towards this aspect of an OEM’s business, and before long, we were batting around ideas that could (and should) be explored. But like everyone else in a “pre-entrepreneurship” stage, we were both somewhat busy with other projects, and we met occasionally to explore these ideas further. It was clear that many of our ideas held promise, but part-time work was never going to cut it. At least not for us. So we made a commitment to “run down” various ideas to see if they made sense, and were worthy of investing our time, imagination and money! As many of these discussions were taking place in late 2013, we agreed (somewhat arbitrarily!) that we would get together on the “first Monday of January 2014” in an office space my co-founder Sujata Joshi and I had rented for our personal use. That date was January 6, 2014. And shortly thereafter Entytle was born! Happy 10th anniversary Entytle!! ❤️ And here's to the next 10!! #resilient #persistent #anniversary #amazing #grateful #brightfuture
