it looks nice and changes somehow from the historical absence of #Poland in the list of countries that had the ambitions to develop the #rocket launch systems. It is worth to remind that originally that absence had been imposed by soviet union during communist period directly and through eastern block control organisms, such as Warsaw Pact and COMECON. After 1989 the polish space activity was developing slowly and main impulsion was given in early 2010s and subsequent integration of Poland to European Space Agency - ESA . The ambitions for launchers are even more recent endeavour coming from historical research from such places as Technical University of Warsaw Łukasiewicz - ILOT, however the development of sounding rockets is now developing steadily with those actors and newspace, such as SpaceForest.
Update: The poster is now on sale - https://lnkd.in/d3qrciSn For the first time in a long time, we've completed a new poster for the European Spaceflight store. It will go on sale on 16 Jan. This may be our new favourite. We still love the poster for France, though.

🚀 Exciting news from the space industry! Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket is all set to make a grand comeback with a crewed mission on May 19, 2024, after a nearly two-year pause. This mission, NS-25, isn’t just a routine spaceflight—it’s a beacon of triumph over past challenges and a bold step forward in human space exploration. 🌟 Meet the Heroes: The crew features individuals like Ed Dwight, who was America’s first Black astronaut candidate, broadening the horizon of diversity in space travel. Alongside him is Mason Angel, a visionary investor, taking his first journey to the stars. 🔍 Overcoming Adversity: The return follows an intense period of scrutiny after an anomaly in 2022 during the NS-22 mission. The Collins Aerospace spacesuit will not only allow more people to participate in a spacewalk, it will also contribute to driving down the spaceflight costs. The combination of a lighter suit with fewer parts will result in about 30% less hardware being launched into space. Additionally the suit will require less storage space, less training, less fatigue, and will increase ease of access within airlocks and vehicle structures - leading to an increase in overall astronaut comfort. #Space #Spacesuit #Technology #AdvancedTechnology #Engineering #EngineeringInnovation #Teamwork #TechnologyUpgrades

Today we're celebrating a legacy of innovation. On this day in 1961, Yuri Gagarin became the first human to make the perilous journey to space. Immediately, this moment became a symbol of human achievement and continues to inspire technological advancement in space and on Earth. At Reflex, we don't just observe the day; we embrace the values behind it. The early days of space exploration were full of challenges, but every challenge opened a door to creative solutions that pushed our understanding of science and technology further. We’re reminded of how far we’ve come, and how much there is left to accomplish. We see the legacy of human spaceflight as a call to ensure that the spirit of innovation stays alive in our company and our actions. #InternationalDayOfHumanSpaceFlight #SpaceInnovation #NextSpace
