FROM TECHNOCRACY TO EVOLUTION The EHMA European Health Management Association congress has just ended. A gathering that represents the best of management research in healthcare systems. These were the main topics: People-centred systems Health technology and digital transformation Workforce of the future Sustainable and resilient health systems Healthcare access, delivery and outcomes. As ASSOCIAZIONE ITALIANA DI HEALTH COACHING® we had the opportunity to present a poster on the Human-Tech model showed for the very first time at our Meeting Lab 2023. It was interesting to discover that other researchers have identified the need to develop human potential as the real recipe for generating progress from innovation, as well. In this, the models for creating the new health management leadership must be rethought. As Italian Health Coaches we hope to be able to contribute with our capacity for empowerment to the acceleration of this process of professional growth and educational upgrading. Hopefully bringing some papers in EHMA Rennes 2025 in collaboration with Universities or Public Health Institutions!!!

We are excited to share our latest publication in #IJIC that focusses on governance and accountability for integrated care and exploring arrangements that shape more integrated delivery models or systems in Italy, the Netherlands and Scotland. Key findings: 1. A disconnect between national/regional governmental aspirations and efforts for implementation, leading to blurred lines of accountability. 2. The importance of flexibility and time for national policies to be adapted to local contexts and engaged local leadership. 3. The dominance of healthcare over social care in terms of policies, resource allocation, and national monitoring systems hindering collaboration locally. 4. The pandemic highlighted and exacerbated existing strengths and weaknesses, but did not disrupt the overall vision for the health and social care system. For full paper, please see: https://lnkd.in/ewMriq-7 A huge thank you to the project team for making this research possible! The proliferation of Food is Medicine interventions and their increasing use within health care has been mostly ahead of the research, driven in large part by nonprofits and advocates who have developed creative programs to meet the nutrition-related needs of people living with chronic illness. To inform the next decade of Food is Medicine research, the recommendations in this Action Plan by Food and Society at Aspen Institute: • Offer concrete guidance on how to embed equity throughout the Food is Medicine research continuum; • Identify key considerations to ensure that research designs are robust and appropriate for yielding the most valuable and actionable information; • Identify the most urgent questions that have yet to be explored; and • Describe how funders and other stakeholders can support the most valuable research in the field.
