At work all know me as Lucia. But at home, I'm usually called by my second name Marisa. It's like my A-side and my B-side. 🎭 We all have an A-side and a B-side. The A-side is what we show in the professional environment: focused, productive, dedicated. But the B-side, our personal side, is equally important. This is the side that often takes a back seat but deserves attention and respect. 🌱 During Mental Health Awareness Month, it is crucial to remember that true productivity and satisfaction at work come from balance. We are faced with choices every day as to our priorities and the focus we give to different activities. As someone who harps on a lot about emotional wellbeing in my professional capacity, it has become more important to me over the last couple of years to build in time each and every day to do something which supports my mental health. So that is why I got up just after 5am today to enable me to run 5 miles before work. Perhaps this is not everyone’s idea of fun, but it is probably my top Protective Interruption if any areas of my life are feeling a bit off balance. After all, running reminds me that I have both physical and mental strength and have the resilience to keep going even when the journey feels tough. #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthawareness #emotionalwellbeing
