HOW TO USE CARRILERO ON CHELSEA Lesley Ugochukwu (2004) is a very unique central midfielder: tall (188 cm) and mobile (83 kg) with excellent ball control, dribbling skills, and outstanding football intelligence - reminiscent of Abou Diaby during his time at "Arsenal." A young midfielder who likes to drift to the half-spaces / flanks during transitions (preferring to play on the right side of the central midfield, even as a defensive midfielder), working with the ball and initiating attacks through individual skills. He is a hardworking and determined player, with great defensive work rate. Lesley Ugochukwu is one of the youngest defensive midfielders to have accumulated more than 1000 minutes of playing time, a powerful and dynamic player, primarily focused on defensive duties. There are signs of long shots ability, but it's not definite (a couple of instances). However, he will definitely get his chance as a starting central midfielder alongside a playmaker. Despite spending only one season in elite football, he has already shown glimpses of his potential. His confident performances in Ligue 1 (1130 minutes) and experience in European competitions (Europa League) helped "Rennes" secure the 4th place and qualify for the Champions League. And he is only 19 years old!! The Premier League becomes a tournament where the main fans are of athletic players who can be technically coached (as long as they have the foundation of physical skills, talent, football IQ, and understanding of the game). Many clubs continue the idea of interchangeability and universality, for which top clubs are willing to pay big money. If in the past, Arsenal Wenger had to compromise on certain qualities (favoring technical skills over physical ones), Chelsea is now freed from such a dilemma.
