Certainly! Changing the words you use can significantly impact your mindset. Here are some examples of how to reframe your thoughts with different words: 1. **From "I Am Not There" to "I Am Not Yet There"**: This change implies that you're on a journey and you're making progress, even if you haven't reached your goal yet¹. 2. **From "I Won't Be Able" to "I'll Try"**: This shifts the focus from a fixed inability to a willingness to attempt and learn¹. 3. **From "I Am Bad Thing" to "I Do Bad Thing"**: Instead of labeling yourself as inherently bad, this acknowledges that you've done something wrong but can change your behavior¹. 4. **From "I Have To" to "I Get To"**: This turns a chore into an opportunity, highlighting the positive aspect of the task¹. 5. **From "I Can't" to "How Can I?"**: This opens up possibilities and encourages problem-solving rather than shutting down options¹. These subtle shifts in language can help foster a growth mindset, encouraging continuous improvement and resilience. Remember, the words you choose to use can shape your reality and influence your attitude towards life's challenges and opportunities. Keep practicing these changes, and you'll likely notice a shift in your perspective over time. 🌟 Source: Conversation with Bing, 3/23/2024 (1) 17 Ways To Change Your Words To Change Your Mindset. https://lnkd.in/guXVu8Gh. Mindset is what separates the best from the rest when it comes to virtually everything in life. It's sometimes so easy to let the 'inner critic' or external stressors take over and dictate how we feel and how we ultimately act. Clearly, most things worth achieving take effort, perseverance and the right mindset. So, it often comes down to simply putting one foot in front of the other and doing even the smallest things that need to be done to move forward. Maintaining motivation in the face of all the demands on our time can sometimes be difficult but if we keep taking one more step and developing our mindset muscles we end up making progress. And it's all about progress isn't it? As I say to my clients in terms of that fine-tuning, polish and tweaking we can do that takes people to the next level as presenters... it's not about Perfection, it's simply about making Progress, and we can build on that - those little one-percenters that can add up to a better result. Just one more step. I needed to remind myself of this to day and if you know anyone who needs to reminded of it too please share this with them. And I'd love to hear your thoughts. Your Mindset Defines YOU. The significance of mindset in shaping one's identity cannot be overstated. Most people do not know this, but what you think about yourself, matters a lot. Believing in your capability to achieve a goal is crucial, as your mind inherently accepts or rejects the possibility. During my undergraduate years, I confronted a low CGPA. However, a pivotal shift occured when I consciously altered my mindset, seeking solutions to improve my academic standing. This transformation yielded tangible results. In my teenage years, I enjoyed listening to radio programs, and now, as a youth corps member, I got the chance to host one. Initially, I felt uncertain about my abilities, but adjusting my mindset, coupled with a commitment to personal development, I embraced the challenge, and this has made a positive impact on my progress. The Journey since then has been one of continuous progress. Acknowledging the ongoing learning process, i refuse to confine myself with limiting beliefs, confident that greater achievement lie ahead. In essence, your mindset, plays a huge role in life. If you believe that you cannot achieve something, you inadvertently sabotage your potential. Comparing your capabilities to others should serve as inspiration, not limitation. I advocate for a transformative shift in mindset. How do you perceive the concept of your mindset defining You?

🤯Ever face a challenge and the first thought that pops into your head is "I can't"?🙅🏻 We all do it! But what if we flipped the script and asked ourselves, 💁🏻"What if I can do it?" 🧠This simple shift in mindset has been a game-changer for me, both personally and professionally. ⚡It's not about ignoring limitations, but about approaching them with a 🙋🏻can-do attitude. ✅Here are a few tips that help me bounce back every time: 🎯Focus on "What" Instead of "Why Not":When faced with a hurdle, instead of dwelling on the negatives, ask yourself "What steps can I take to overcome this?" I help you boost employee wellbeing and experience | Themed interactive workshops | Creator of the Mindset Mastery Blueprint™️ | Keynote speaker | Like to laugh at my own jokes 🥴
As humans it’s our innate desire to feel safe. That’s what drives our ego/comfort zone/subconscious. All our subconscious wants to know is ‘am I safe?’ which is why stress arises when we don’t feel safe e.g. when change happens/we’re in an unfamiliar situation/something external happens to us which disrupts the way we thought an experience would unfold. The only thing we have control of is our mindset and the lens in which we choose the view the experiences we encounter. What could be more important than investing on understanding how HQ works? How to master it? To learn tools and techniques to shift our mindset? This is sovereignty. This is mindset freedom. So with this in mind, below are three questions to support you to take charge of your mindset when change shows up. Take a slow deep breath in and out, and ask yourself these 3 reflective questions: - What am I worried about? - If someone I loved came to me with this exact set of circumstances what would I say? - If I couldn’t fail, what would my life look like with this change in place? Notice what comes up for you. If you'd like more mindset tools and techniques on how to successfully navigate change - head to https://lnkd.in/dc5FYCW and where I've created a PDF which you can download and refer to when change shows up.

Thoughts on a loop, self-doubt winning the race inside my head. Ever noticed how some thoughts spiral into stress or negativity? Our minds are storytellers, but not all stories serve us. Every thought shapes your reality. Master them, master your world. Negative Thoughts: ↪ "I can't do this." ↪ "Nobody cares about me." ↪ "I'm not smart enough." ↪ "I'll never succeed." ↪ "It's too late for me." Transform to Positive Thoughts: ↪ "I'm learning and growing." ↪ "I am valued and loved." ↪ "I am capable and intelligent." ↪ "Success is a journey, not a destination." ↪ "It's never too late to start." Step-by-Step to Shift Your Mindset: 1️⃣ Carry a Notebook: Your thoughts now have a landing place. 2️⃣ Note the Negative: Catch them. Write them. Don't judge. 3️⃣ Pause and Reflect: Why this thought? What triggered it? 4️⃣ Reframe with Positivity: Flip the script. Write a positive counterpart. 5️⃣ Acknowledge Growth: Celebrate each shift towards positivity. Embrace Thought Tracking: ✅ Begin today. A thought noted is a step towards change. ✅ Practice daily. Consistency transforms. ✅ Reflect weekly. Notice the shift? Thought tracking isn’t just about catching negativity; it’s about cultivating a garden of positive, empowering thoughts. P.S. Ready to rewrite your mind’s narrative? What's one negative thought you've been dealing with lately?

Making it easier for mid-career professionals to land better jobs faster with higher pay using my Career Formula™ | Career Coach | Job Search Strategist | Clients landed roles in Tech, Real Estate, Hospitality, & more.
I used to ruminate - a lot. I would find myself in negative thought spirals and couldn't get out. Fortunately, I learned skills to help me understand why this happens and learned techniques to help me break the cycle. In my latest blog, I talk about how negative self-talk can be debilitating, causing us to question our abilities and stall our progress. The blog aims to help you identify and overcome negative thought spirals, build self-confidence, shift your mindset, and take proactive steps toward your goals. Here are the three key points: 1. Boost your confidence. Confidence is built, not born. Trust yourself by reflecting on your past accomplishments. Accept that experiencing any emotion, including failure, won't harm you. Embrace your worthiness with positive affirmations like "I am committed to my results" and "Failure is just one more step to success." 2. Shift your mindset. Accept your negative emotions and focus on what you can control. Make a list of worries, identify what you can control, and take action on those areas. Practice reframing your mindset to interrupt negative thought patterns. 3. Take (imperfect) action. Overcome the fear of imperfection by taking small steps forward. Acknowledge your fears and proceed anyway. Remember, "Done is better than perfect." I provide specific exercises in the article (link in comments). What works for you to overcome negative thoughts? Share in the comments! #personaldevelopment #growth #mindset

Your mindset influences how you think, feel and behave in any given situation. What type of mindset do you have? #growth #leadershipdevelopment #personalgrowth
What type of mindset do you have? Your mindset influences how you think, feel and behave in any given situation. A negative mindset can significantly impact one's emotional well-being, relationships, and overall quality of life by feeding pessimism, self-doubt, and a focus on problems rather than solutions. Individuals with a negative mindset tend to interpret events, situations, and experiences in a way that reinforces feelings of inadequacy, hopelessness, or unhappiness. 💪 You have the power to change this. 💣 Your mind is the control centre of your life. Sometimes you can't control the thoughts that pop into your head, but you can choose how you respond to them and how you act. To shift, you need to actively learn to reframe your thoughts and deconstruct the auto-pilot mode you've built through time. Here are the 3 steps to follow: 1️⃣ Build Awareness Identify your current perspective, including any limiting beliefs. Notice when they arise and how they make you feel. 2️⃣ Challenge your perspective Ask yourself: 📍What's another way of looking at the situation? 📍Is there evidence to support this thought? 📍How likely is the worst-case scenario? 3️⃣ Decide Decide what can you view as an opportunity Replace negative thoughts with positive or neutral ones. This doesn't mean pretending everything is perfect; it means looking at situations from a different angle. 💪 You have the power to change this narrative. #MindsetShift #ReframeYourMind #GrowthMindset #EmpowerYourself #MindfulnessPractice #SelfDevelopment #Leadership #LeadershipDevelopment
