The new draft industrial strategy; “Invest 2035” has been launched for review and feedback by 24th November 2024. It’s good to see that this 10-year plan draws on the importance of innovation clusters and regional ecosystems. Also, the need to support these with targeted R&D investment, infrastructure, and skills development. UK IDG will be working through the detail and engaging with partners over the next few weeks to inform our response. If you’d like to have a conversation about any of this, please get in touch.
