Service Stream’s Post

We were immensely proud to support nbn® Australia Australia and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announce funding for the final stage of the Fibre to the Node network upgrades last week.   Thanks to the investment from the Australian Government of up to $3 billion, these newly announced upgrades will enable more than 620,000 homes and businesses, more than half in regional Australia, to access nbn's fastest upload and download speeds. Works will begin now and are expected to be completed by the end of 2030.   Service Stream has been providing specialist planning, design and construction services to nbn on their Fibre to the Node network upgrade programs, including the current N2P Evolution Program. This program of works is providing eligible premises with progressive access to Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) technology – a program designed to extend access to high-speed internet further into Australian communities.   Service Stream supported this recent announcement by providing a suitable site to hold the press conference. Media crews attended the site in Belconnen, near Canberra, to record footage demonstrating the works being undertaken as part of this program.   A big shout out goes to Pete Dempsey, State Manager NSP NSW, and his team for all their efforts to help make this happen, and the entire Telco team for their ongoing work on this important program for nbn and their customers.   #KeepingCommunitiesConnected #nbn #fasterinternet Sean Bryan Kevin Smith
