The wait..... Aloha LinkedIn Friends 🌺 The pat on the back that I needed today was delivered through a posting from Kashonna Harvey. Thank you. In this digital space, fast delivery is an expectation. This state mind has crossed the thresholds of human interactions. Some quick transformations that trapped my mind: frustrated with myself from not becoming an expert after just a week of introductory courses or not receiving a response to a message within a couple of hours. Just to think there was a time in my life that education was only in person on a limited time schedule and messages were only delivered through USPS or notes left with a receptionist. That response could take a week or more. Patience was an expected part of communication/interactions then and is still a vital factor now. Set reminders for follow-up and establish markers for growth. In the between time, fly a kite or something until we get that hammock near the heated pool by the outdoor office. (At least that is what Future Me said.)

Today, I've learned to enjoy NCAA's basketball more because I find their commitment to the game and team more pure, honest, legit, as the street would say. It's in this competition, starting today, where the most competitive basketball there is takes the court. As we gear up for March Madness, it's not just about the thrilling games on the court—it's also a reminder of the competitive edge that drives success, both in sports and in business.
