When J.J. Milner talks about his journey as an entrepreneur, he says "it is like jumping out of a plane with silkworms instead of a parachute and hoping that they’re overachievers" and this epitomises the trust a leader needs to have in their people and their own business ethics if the organisation is going to succeed. Just having a great idea was not enough for Milner to succeed in building Global Micro Solutions into the business it is today and he says this is because he took risks and trusted that his people would deliver.  In fact, he says that he has overachievers all around him who emerge as the project develops.  He just has to trust that together they will figure out the answers.  And being in iCloud computing industry, Milner and his team have been offering insights into cloud technologies, email management, server architecture, and enterprise communication strategies and this has made Global Micro Solutions a leader in its industry.  Trust is a powerful competence in business but it is not learnt, it is a choice you make about the people with whom you work. You can choose to trust them or not. And as Milner says he is backing the silkworms to come up with the silk and as we know, they keep doing so.  Read about this adventure and how it started below.
