Is it illegal for someone else to charge a Tesla car if it is parked on Tesla charging-only parking space but it is not charging? Recently I saw a video, a blogger #charges other's #Tesla car and forced the car owner to pay the overtime fee. Before he comes, the Tesla car was just parked there but not charging, took the place so other people can not use the #charger. Is it illegal? I checked the materials from Tesla, Tesla has a DC charging agreement, which means the drivers shall pay overtime fee when they parked on the parking space over time after finished charging, there will be an extra fees. Actually the behaviour of this blogger was doing negotiorum gestio for Tesla. What does negotiorum gestio mean? It is means a gestio acts on behalf of a principal without the principal's consent. So the blogger charged the driver on behalf of Tesla, he protected the interest of Tesla, it is not illegal. On the other hand, he can ask Tesla for management fees. Do you think it is illegal? Do you think if there is a better way to avoid EVs parking on the charging place but not charging and just take the place?
