10moAs I said when this was posted before, the point loading of teeth is far too high here, with only a couple of teeth in mesh at either end of the prop shaft. A chain has 180 degrees of wrap on both chainwheel and rear sprocket to spread the load on both chain and teeth. Rollers are already incorporated in chains so nothing new. In fact nothing new in shaft drive bicycles, having been introduced in the 1880s. Its one thing to show the system turning without load and quite another showing it being ridden up a steep hill!
