Start the New Year on the right track with these 3 tips for safe driving to and from celebrations: 1️⃣ Plan Ahead: Check your route in advance and be aware of potential road closures or events. Planning your journey helps you avoid last-minute stress and unexpected delays. 2️⃣ Designate a Driver: If you're celebrating the New Year with friends or family, plan ahead for a designated driver. Make sure everyone gets home safely by arranging transportation in advance or using rideshare services. 3️⃣ Stay Alert and Sober: New Year's festivities can be distracting, but it's crucial to stay focused on the road. If you've been celebrating, never get behind the wheel under the influence. Your safety and the safety of others on the road should always be the top priority. See you in 2024!

Supporting educational institutions reach their student recruitment and engagement goals from Latin America | Expert in student recruitment & engagement | Dad of 2 girls
As we celebrate the 5th birthday 🎂 of EdCo LATAM Consulting, I had a think about five important learnings from the journey so far. 1. Understanding and addressing partner needs is important. Whilst we work with partners in the same industry, each have different aims and objectives so we need to tailor our services and listen carefully to what success looks like for our partners. 2. Building a team is challenging but very rewarding. At EdCo LATAM Consulting we have a great team and it is important to have the right team members working with each of our partners. Carefully matching skills set, experience and styles of working. This is vital and an area we are working hard on. 3. Perseverance and resilience are key skills needed to build a business. This reminds me of a quote from Muhammad Ali which I think of regularly “The fight is won away from witnesses – behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights”. We get rejections / unanswered proposals - we keep going 4. Successful relationships are developed through listening, understanding and taking action on feedback. Face to face meetings are the best way of really understanding partner needs. 5. Innovation and reporting on market trends is becoming increasingly important to our business. In five short years, technological advancement and AI have had a big (mostly positive) impact on our industry. A big thanks to everyone I have had the opportunity to meet and work with over the last 5 years – Here’s to the next five and I feel like we are just getting started 😊

Annual recognition event: honoring our colleagues! Today we held our annual recognition event, a special occasion where we celebrate the extraordinary achievements of our colleagues from High Five Health Promotion and Westfield Health. This event reminds us of the importance of acknowledging not only successes but also the positive impact a colleague has on their team and the company culture, celebrating both achievements and personal qualities. Our core values play an essential role in this recognition: - We Care: the ones that have shown they genuinely care about others, whether it’s our customers, colleagues, or the community. Their empathy and commitment make a world of difference. - We Are Explorers: this one is for the pioneers, those who aren’t afraid to explore new paths and embrace innovation. Their curiosity and creativity drive us forward continually. - We Own It: this category recognizes those who take responsibility and deliver results. They are reliable, proactive, and their dedication inspires us all to do our best work. - We Are In It Together: here, we honor the team players who foster collaboration. Their ability to connect people and work together makes us stronger and more united. Each winner has demonstrated themselves exceptionally in one of these core values. Thanks to everyone who made this celebration possible and to all our colleagues for their ongoing dedication and hard work!

We can’t believe it’s 2024 already 😅 With the end of year festivities out the way we are raring to go this year! 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣ We’ve already made some key changes to our business, introducing a Guide book for our contract management team, we identified in 2023 we didn’t have consistency across our business in how we had been operating and this seemed a logical step to bring that consistency and ensure our service levels improved ⬆️ We’re hoping our valued clients will see our improvement in the coming weeks as we continue to focus on improving as a buisness constantly.✅ With a busy year ahead it’s important changes are made and we evolve to keep up with demand! 🗓️

You may recall the happy news we shared last month about Sheila McAneney's promotion to Division President! Well, now you get to learn 5 fun facts about Sheila 🖐️ 1️⃣ Go-to coffee order for work: "Dunkin’s... always decaf, with a touch of caramel and oat milk." 2️⃣ Music or silence for deep work? "It depends on the work, but for deep focus, you can find ocean sounds filling the silence." 3️⃣ Favorite team activity: "While I love a nice team dinner, I enjoy going to a good sporting event with the team and love when we can get together for paint night." 4️⃣ Best way to destress after work/favorite hobby: "I love reading or heading out for a drive to the beach. In New England, there are so many great beaches close by and I try to get to a beach often." 5️⃣ Favorite coworker? "Trick question! I love my team, but you can’t beat the days when I bring my toy poodle, Lulu, to the office." (#ICYMI, here's our post announcing Sheila's promotion: https://hubs.la/Q02R03t50)
