Today, we’d like to share next essential step: Carding.   🌟 Carding is a crucial stage in transforming raw cotton into fine, usable fibers. This process involves disentangling, cleaning, and intermixing cotton fibers to produce a continuous web or sliver suitable for subsequent processing.   The Carding Process Explained: 1. Opening: The cotton passes through rollers with wire teeth, which open and separate the fibers. 2. Cleaning: Impurities and short fibers are removed. 3. Aligning: The fibers are aligned parallel to each other to form a thin web. 4. Forming a Sliver: The web is condensed into a continuous strand called a sliver.
