Kicking off Q4 with some co-founder QT! While we've been working together for four years, the last 12 months building Holocene have been some of the most interesting of our careers. We've learned a lot about the VC journey, African climate tech's opportunities and challenges, and what it really means to be an entrepreneur- but we've also learned a ton about ourselves. We came together because of our love of nature and belief in entrepreneurship as an amazing tool to solve the world's most intense challenges. We stay together because of the deep respect we have for each other's different viewpoints, complimentary skillsets, work ethics and strong values. My client Canterly has raised seed funding from Antler🎉 I had the pleasure of creating their pitch deck, helping them reach this important milestone 🐎 At Deck Studio, I work closely with founders to help them express their vision in a clear and powerful way. When Canterly’s founder approached me, she needed help refining her story to make it stand out to investors. Here’s what I did: • Understood their vision I took the time to fully grasp the founder’s vision and the challenges Canterly addresses in the equestrian industry. • Simplified the story I worked to refine and simplify the story, making sure her ideas were presented in a clear and focused way. • Created impactful slides I designed slides that visually and effectively showcased her message, highlighting the key points while keeping the deck visually engaging. • Built a strong pitch deck I created a pitch deck that highlighted the size of the equestrian market and how Canterly is positioned to capture it. The result?
