A smooth candidate journey is essential - it's a small world out there, and reputation matters. People know if you have a high turnover, because, people talk and they have ears (yep! stating the obvious). If you're behaving like a successful business that has everything figured out, and people know you don't - they won't want to join the business. If you were honest about it - that's different. You've got to tell a story, and it's got to be real, no smoke and mirrors. The one system that works for us when hiring for our clients is this - Implementing a structured hiring process: - Conduct briefings with all decision-makers involved. - Set regular meetings to discuss progress and feedback. - Maintain clear communication with candidates within 48 hours. - Utilise tools like Trello for real-time updates and collaboration. - Provide thorough feedback to unsuccessful candidates. - Ensure a seamless onboarding process for successful hires.
