Celebrating Finland’s Independence and the Power of Sisu 🕯️🕯️ Today, as Finland 🇫🇮 honors its independence, I’m inspired to reflect on the Finnish concept of sisu—a word that beautifully captures grit, resilience, and the unwavering courage to push forward, no matter the odds. 💪❄️ Learning about sisu has been a game-changer for me. It’s not just a cultural value; it’s a mindset. 🌟 Whether facing professional hurdles, personal struggles, or moments of uncertainty, sisu has been my guide to standing tall and moving forward—even when the easier choice is to give up. Life, much like Finland’s winters, can be harsh and demanding. 🌨️ But the Finnish people have shown, time and again, that perseverance brings strength, growth, and brighter days. 🌅 Today, I celebrate not just Finland’s remarkable history but also the timeless lessons it has taught me—and the world—about staying strong through tough times. 💙 Let’s embrace a bit of sisu in our own lives. It’s the force that keeps us going when the going gets tough. 💫 Hyvää itsenäisyyspäivää! 🇫🇮✨ How has resilience shaped your journey? Let’s share and inspire each other! 🌍💬 #Finland#HyvääItsenäisyyspäivää#Sisu#Resilience#Perseverance#Strength#GrowthMindset#Inspiration

Today we had the great privilege to visit Lounavoima in Salo with a small team from Industrial Engineering and Management, University of Turku. The visit was part of a new research project financed by City of Salo and University of Turku. The idea with this project is to clarify the potential to expand and establish new industrial networks in South Western Finland, based on research in innovation management and circular economy. The research is done together with industrial and service firms and local public organizations. The name of the three-year project is: Circular Economy Localization in Finland: Innovating Industrial Symbiosis in South Western Finland. In short, we want to produce new knowledge related how to locally promote circular economy and how to design and manage such processes. #localization. #industrial symbiosis. ➡️➡️Learnings from Traveling: I recently had the incredible opportunity to travel to Uzbekistan, and the experience was nothing short of transformative. From the ancient cities of Samarkand to the modern buzz of Tashkent with having a mix of soviet and middle east culture, each moment was filled with valuable lessons and new perspectives. Here are a few key learnings that I’ll carry with me: ✅️Embracing Cultural Heritage: A balance between tradition with Uzbekistan’s rich history, seen in its iconic Silk Road cities and innovation in architecture is something that can inspire us all, both personally and professionally. ✅️Stood firm in their local language: One of the countries where most of the population understood only local language. But it was nice to see that almost everything was in the local language, from signboards to product description to all other information. ✅️Difference of Foreign made Products: While most of the products were having Chinese influence, unlike India, it has a much higher standard of quality at a similar price. We have a need to increase our quality standards at a high level. ✅️Discipline and inclusivity: People are very disciplined whether in terms of traffic, crossings and in general. Also, the importance of being light hearted and contended, whether in business or personal life is a great need. This trip has not only broadened my worldview but also reinforced the importance of being open to new experiences and continuous learning. I’m excited to bring these insights back and continue growing #learnings #travelling #uzbekistan #innovation #culture

Terential rain, interaction betwee Japanese and Lithuanian pagan cultures and amazing vibes - #Mikoshi ceremony in Vilnius was a special experience. As a form of cultural ambassadorship, mikoshi temples are traveling to different countries and sharing this lovely tradition. It was an honour to be part of this ceremony. Hearing stories from Japanese diaspora in Lithuania, dedicated embassy staff and Lithuanians who lived, studied, worked and created familes in Japan was truly inspiring. International business is impossible without understanding different cultures and that’s one more reason I want to study at GLOBIS University - Graduate School of Management with scholarship #japan #mba #business
