Empowering Emergency Managers with Innovative Technology 🚨 | Girl Dad x2 👨🏻 | LinkedIn Top Voice 📣 | Certified Emergency Manager 🌀 | Product @ Everbridge 💻
The third and final college that I attended bouncing across three different states (thanks to baseball injuries) was when my passion for Emergency Management started. I decided to major in Homeland Security with a focus in Emergency Management while I continued to pursue playing baseball. When that first class started I was hooked. I knew baseball was a long shot so at least I was able to find a second passion (a more realistic passion 😃). But Emergency Management isn't always about writing plans, being activated into an EOC, deployments, etc. There are other routes that you can take that still include Emergency Management. While I worked in both the public and private sector for 8 + years I discovered an area that I felt even more passionate about that I wanted to pursue. Technology. I was fascinated by the technology we use in Emergency Management. To communicate, to manage incidents, create and collaborate on plans, etc. I started a mission to be involved in technology that matters to Emergency Managers to get the job done. Over the past 4 + years I've been able to do just that. The past year and a half I was able to get more involved in product and pursue my passion. Why am I sharing this information? Because I know that it's easy to get stuck in your career and want to pursue something more or something different. If any of this sounds interesting to you check out this position at Everbridge. If you have interest and want to discuss this position further please reach out to me and I'll be happy to share more information. If you want to discuss your career path within the field of Emergency Management don't hesitate to reach out. #emergencymanagement #technology #productmanagement #emjobs https://lnkd.in/esPWmDst

Come join this team here as their next oeoxuft manager. It’s been reposted two times by other team members. Why aren’t you getting more product manager interviews? There’s a pattern here folks of the types of roles hiring managers are positing for. I have been posting product manager roles nonstop and figured out one of the reasons you are not getting interviews is that your resume may not (MAY NOT) be tailored for the role, because you “think” you don’t have direct experience. These are the most commonly posted product manager roles and also the industries that are thriving. Digital payments Healthcare or Health Tech E-commerce Data Privacy and/or Cybersecurity Growth AI Product Strategy and Roadmap Recently Funded Startup of First PM Hire (💰💰💰) Automotive Product Leader (ie head or director of product) I have a resume template for each type of product manager role in Skool! https://lnkd.in/gtQjCfUH See you in Skool for the resume templates. https://lnkd.in/gtQjCfUH PS Are you curious how my team is able to get to these roles as fast as we do? As an engineering manager, how would you navigate this? Imagine you are managing distributed teams of software engineers. It's holiday season so some folks in different geographies are out of the (virtual) office. But there's an incident with the service you're running. It's impacting users but the severity of it isn't so critical that the service is completely down. It's not a good look for the quality of the service, but it's also probably not a priority to disrupt vacations for your team members. As time goes by, other geographies for your team are coming online and noticing the impact of the incident. The problem: They aren't the ones with the expertise to resolve it. They need their colleagues to come online to help. What actions do you take? ---- 👀 Check out the full video on our channel! 🗣️ Share with your network! #softwareengineering #engineeringmanager #engineeringmanagement

🤔 Navigating the intricacies of hiring a Chief Technology Officer (CTO)? 🔍 Whether you've evaluated their technical prowess through tasks, interviews, or trusted recommendations, working with highly skilled senior developers can present challenges. Moreover, challenges can surface during product development, market launch, or substantial scaling. Startup CTOs often overlook crucial processes, resulting in burnout for themselves and their teams during crunch time. Some opt for cost-cutting measures, implementing only basic network monitoring and functional testing. 🚀💻 The CTO’s job is to learn and to respond to change. This means: 💡 Being well-aligned to the company goals and strategy ✅ Proactively anticipating opportunities and potential pitfalls ✨ Fluent in market dynamics, funding phases, and go-to-market priorities 🌐 Setting up foolproof monitoring systems 🚀 Diagnosing and swiftly presenting actionable plans 🏆 Making sure all roads lead to success We can help, learn how:

Senior R&D Python Software Engineer with 12 years experience. Organizer of AI Code and Coffee Meetups in Warsaw and London
What should you look for when hiring senior and staff engineers? - Scope of work. Did they work on a feature or lead the project or lead the team? - Good trade-offs. Do they come up with multiple solutions and pick the best one? - Ownership mentality. Did they monitor for bugs, setup logging, create a test plan, iterate on the feature? - Growth mindset. Do they try to learn from their mistakes and continuously improve? - Technical Strategy. Do they build systems, frameworks, and processes that up level the team? Or do they hack things together. - Conflict resolution. Can they disagree productively and drive the right decision even if it's not their idea? - Stakeholders. Can they work productively with non-technical coworkers to solve hard problems? - Delegation. Can they scale themselves and empower a team to solve a big problem, or do they try to do everything themselves?

⭐Really pleased to have completed on a multi-hire Engineering project for one of our partners. ⏩The first role, was hired within 4 weeks of the Project go-live date. 🪴The final role, took a couple of iterations but our partners and I worked together to define the job brief, and at the same time as kept our candidates informed, and engaged in the process. 🚂More often than not, the real value is going on a journey with our partners and that is what I find most rewarding. Yes we can move extremely quickly based on our engaged network in the Digital Product space, but we are also immersed into our market to be able to confidently advise our partners to position, attract and retain the best Product talent. 💜Being recommended is the best reward. #digitalproduct #hiring #softwareengineering #productmanagement #productdesign
