CAERNARVON CASTLE LEVEL WEEKEND BUILD 2.2 - A more concentrated update this week after blocking out the path flow of the main ground level. Focused heavily on building on the Great Hall and Several staircases as I begin the vertical progression of the Level as well. CAERNARVON CASTLE LE VEL WEEK-END BUILD 3.1 - The HERO approaches - The Level build continues its steady build and continued detail of flow layout and future placement for encounters. The Town groundwork is there even though some is hidden at the time being, now I will begin blocking out the main building of the town as well as I continue to go back and forth between that and the castle. I have also coded and animated Run/Walk/Sprint/Crouch cycles now. Next is the Dodge roll and then into Parkour, Also got the Event Tick in place, and the Camera Look System as well. CAERNARVON CASTLE LEVEL BUILD 2.3.5 - This was a quick after work build that the first 5/6 shots are from last night and the rest are from today. As you can see the build is really coming together in a quicker pace as I pull the each section together and tighten the zones. Gryffindor Boys Dormitory UE5 Environment "Gryffindor Boys Dormitory" is based on my favorite book/movie series of all time Harry Potter, which took 6 months in the making. This project was a huge challenge for me, as it was my first environment created in Unreal Engine; also dealing with more complex models and the use of many softwares. I was responsible for creating all assets, in addition to creating their textures using Substance Painter. My goal for this project was to stay true to the source of the books and movies but also add my twist to add a level of creativity. The lighting in this scene is one of my favorites as it represents a warm and cozy feeling with the use of yellow and orange which works exceptionally well with the theme of this project. #environmentalart #texturing #lighting
