🍁 SMEs PROVIDE 71% OF SINGAPORE EMPLOYMEMT 🍁 . . . One of my life milestones in 2023 was rediscovering my roots. My brother managed to trace our family roots back to who our great grandfather was and how he landed onto our Singapura shores. He was a highly influential businessman who was also a founding council member of the SCCCI back in 1906. This inspired my brother and I to sign up to be members of the chamber of commerce and in the picture here, you can see me pointing out to Chairman 陈总 who my great grandfather was. I have had people ask me why of all chambers of commerce, I have chosen to be a member of the SCCCI. And it is this exact reason, because my great grandfather was a founding council member, and I want to honour him and do him proud by also being a contributing member. 2024 is where I am committing to work more closely with SCCCI to bring Wellness Awareness and Wellbeing Strategy to members. We were in the same wedding entourage of the groom, in Singapore and also in Bangkok, so there were ample opportunities for bonding and getting to know each other better. Eugene Ng thanks for bringing us together (again). 🙌 We caught up recently because we realised his office was actually very close to mine. So we found the next available slot in our calendars and made things happen. Turns out Neil's new involvement with OnLoop is complimentary to the work I do at Actxa Wellness. Not sure if anything is going to be happening yet, but at least we now know better what our respective service offerings are and how we can help each others' business.
