Adobe quietly mentioned the latest update to Adobe Premiere/Firefly a couple of days ago. And I love it. The new features include Object Removal, Generative Extend, and Object Addition. Object Removal: This feature allows users to remove unwanted objects from their video footage. Whether it's a distracting element in the background or an unintentional item in the frame, Object Removal makes it possible to clean up footage with ease, saving time and effort in post-production. Generative Extend: Generative Extend takes video editing to a whole new level by intelligently extending scenes based on their content. It uses advanced algorithms to analyze the footage and generate additional frames, seamlessly blending them with the existing content. This can be incredibly useful for extending or looping specific sections of a video, creating smoother transitions, or filling gaps in the footage. Object Addition: With Object Addition, users can effortlessly add new elements to their videos. Whether it's inserting graphics, text overlays, or even additional objects or characters into the scene, this feature provides flexibility and creative freedom. This update is going to be a big one. Adobe's sets a high bar for competitors. With Season Four we can confidently say these advancements will change how we approach video editing,

It's been a great day to MAXimize my potential with my fourth virtual Adobe Max. Here are my thoughts from day 1. ▪️After spending fully half of the keynote talking about AI, I think it's safe to say that we can expect more program integration and features in the future. ▪️There was quite a bit of time spent talking about AI content authenticity initiatives, but it is unclear how other platforms and regulations will address this moving forward. ▪️Huge focus on video and motion content, with some pretty big updates to Premiere (object selection for mask tracking!!), and the launch of Firefly video. ▪️Adobe gets 3D with Project Neo, a web based 3D modeler. ▪️Adobe Gen Studio provides an opportunity to manage and collaborate on marketing campaigns, assets and more. I will be looking forward to trying this out myself. ▪️And lastly, nothing is more thrilling than Aaron Draplin mentioning PA dutch hex signs while talking about simplicity and math in design.
