Why won’t Grant Shapps answer a simple question? Mr Shapps, if you genuinely want to establish any credibilty whatsoever, please just show that you understand, respect, and tell the truth. At the moment, you are widely viewed as the Government’s Liar in Chief (LiC), surely you have the personal pride and human decency to want to address this point? When you informed the electorate of the £75bn allocated for Defence Funding over the next 6 years, I like many others, was extremely surprised and sceptical. I therefore posed a simple question which you have completely ignored. I’m certain that you understand what that says to the public. I want to provide one final opportunity for you to answer my question, which is “Does the allocation of the £75bn Defence Funding which you announced recently, place any committment on Keir Starmer to deliver it, should he become the next PM at the forthcoming election - Yes or No”. If you again fail to answer the question, I must assume, as will many others, that you are indeed a moral coward. That you have willingly deceived the public, the Veteran community, and most inexcusably of all, the heroes currently in the service of our great country.
