Re-Igniting your #passion : Few days back i wrote about my passion /interest for taking Accountancy classes and getting back to Playing cricket after 17 years, when i'm nearing 40 in age now . My childhood friends would know about my passion and love for #cricket . It all started with creating a wtssup group in our locality on 1st May 2024. Started with playing TURF Cricket, then open ground tennis ball matches. In the process made amazing friends with similar thoughts. Our friendship has extended beyond cricket , we go for random tea meetings, movies, will plan for rides also soon. My colleague during our #CA internship days back in 2007 & my friend Deepak V has joined us for few matches..was wonderful to meet Deepak over cricket after a long.. And the urge to play with Stitch ball kicked in few days back. Bought a new KIT, formed a Stitch ball team , Ordered whites with Team name and my name printed. The passion has gone to the next level . Will be playing my first Stitch ball match in 17 years in an open lush green ground the coming Sunday . Its never to late to start your passion. Just need a little kick within. After a long and hectic week in office , its important that we find time for our passion/ hobby . It can be anything cooking, gardening, singing , dancing , playing cricket, riding .etc Now we have online groups/ wtssup groups for anything we want . Just find like minded people and get going . Wanted to share this, as like me, many would had been longing for years to get started . For me it happened almost after 2 decades .Its never too late . Looking forward for the BIG Match this weekend , Stitch ball match, with full whites, lush green outfield and a wonderful team. Below is the video of me practicing yesterday, for the BIG Match next week. Yes the pace has reduced , run up has shortened but the passion has increased manifold now . This passion and play time helps me unwind after a long week in office . I always believed in : #love what you do ( your #work) & do what you love ( Your #passion ) #cricket #friends #passion #happiness

Do you and your colleagues have a competitive streak? Do you embrace challenges and the opportunity to test new skills under pressure? Then the new ‘Unleashed. Race to support Guide Dogs’ is just the team-building exercise you need! Co-developed by XLEvents and our team at Guide Dogs Australia in consultation with our accessibility team and people with lived experience, this race aims to immerse and engage your team like never before. Together, you’ll tackle a series of exciting and enlightening challenges that will not only foster greater teamwork but also provide a glimpse into the lives of people with blindness or low vision, and the importance of accessibility and inclusion. Some tasks include using text-to-voice technology to access instructions without vision and identifying objects only by touch. While these tasks do not truly replicate the experience of living with blindness or low vision, it is a unique way to build trust, learn about collaboration and gain valuable insights into some of the skills and strategies our Clients use to overcome daily challenges. Part of the proceeds from each ‘Unleashed. Race to support Guide Dogs’ event go towards the vital work we do to support people with blindness or low vision. So, if you’re team is ready to challenge themselves and support a great cause, book now! https://lnkd.in/gCKWUYwn [Video description: Two logos appear, the XL Events logo and the Unleashed: Race to support Guide Dogs logo. The video shows people having fun, racing to complete a series of team-building challenges including a blindfolded challenge where team members try to identify random objects inside a sack by touch as well as attempting to kick soccer goals while blindfolded in a park. People can also be seen in an office setting building a structure using coloured blocks. The video concludes with team members sitting inside, laughing and cheering each other on.] #XLEvents #TeamBuilding #CorporateTeamBuilding #EmployeeEngagement #CSRActivity #GiveBack #GuideDogsAustralia #GuideDogsUnleashed

The photo shows a race between dogs and a cheetah, aiming to see who was the fastest. Everyone was surprised that the cheetah did not move from its place. We asked the race coordinator what had happened. After seeing the photo, he responded : Sometimes, trying to prove you are the best is an insult. MORAL 📈Focus your energy on tasks and projects that have a real impact and are important for your progression or that of your company. We don't need to lower ourselves to others level to show our strength. 💪🏼Have confidence in your skills and abilities without constantly feeling the need to demonstrate them to others. Your work and results will speak for themselves. 🤝Avoid unnecessary comparisons unnecessary competitions with your colleagues. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. Focus on your own development and growth. ⏳Manage your energy and time strategically. Invest them in productive and meaningful tasks rather than in confrontations or unnecessary competitions. 🌟Respect the skills and talents of your colleagues. Recognizing the value of others does not diminish your own. Working together collaboratively often leads to better results than working in competition. 🧠Think carefully and save your energy for what you deserve... 🐆The cheetah uses its speed only for hunting, not to prove to the dogs that it is the fastest and the strongest. 🚀Like the cheetah, use your strengths and talents strategically and productively, without being distracted by the need to continuously prove your worth to others.

Introducing Will Fuller, our Northeastern Regional Sales Manager with a robust background in the graphics industry. Zund cutters are nothing new to him, and although he joined Zund in 2023, his quick integration into our team has made it feel like he's been on board for much longer. Will possesses a remarkable ability to establish an instant connection with people, making them feel like they've known him for years. Thank you, Will, for being such a great person to work with. Your personable, relatable nature, combined with your extensive knowledge, makes you a valuable asset to our team. We look forward to what's in store in 2024! Check out his spotlight questions below! Q: What is your favorite sport? A: It has to be football! 🏈 The game is never over until it’s over, and there are always surprise teams every year. Football develops leaders. 🌟 Q: What's a piece of advice you wish you could give your younger self? A: Never give up! 💪 Some salespeople give up after 2-3 touchpoints, but it can take many more to gain a new customer and new business. Challenge yourself to never give up. Roger Penske has a famous slogan in his facilities that says “Effort Equals Results.” 🚀 Q: What's a skill or hobby you've always wanted to learn but haven't had the chance to yet? A: I have always wanted to be part of a crew building a passive solar house because I don’t know anything about the process! 🏡 Q: Name one thing you’re willing to spend more money on to make sure you get the best quality. A: Because I love to be outdoors and hike, it inevitably rains, so the smartest thing to buy is a really good Gore-Tex outer-jacket. They are expensive, but last a long time and are worth the money in the end, whether skiing or trekking. 🌧️ Q: If you can hop on a plane within an hour, where would you go? A: The 8 National Parks in Alaska! 🏞️ My wife and I have a goal of going to all the 63 National Parks, and we’re about a third there! #EmployeeSpotlight #zundcutter #meetzund
