We’ve been celebrating a lot of work anniversaries lately, and it’s incredible to see the longevity. One of the biggest contributors to our extraordinry employee retention is our great company culture. In a heartfelt showcase of unity and appreciation, our "Gratitude in Bloom, Celebrating You" event transcended all levels of our organization, bringing together associates from every corner, including our esteemed management like the Chief Executive Officer (Kelvin Loh) and Business Director (Sharon Teh) and other core team leaders (Joelle Kwok, Ee Tyng Han, Alice Han). This special gathering, held in conjunction with Employee Appreciation Week and International Women's Day, was not just about recognizing achievements but also about fostering a deep sense of community and gratitude across our team. For an impactful half-day, we shifted from our regular work to engage in a profoundly meaningful activity—building flower Legos for one another. Each creation was accompanied by a personalized thank you note, making this act of appreciation even more special. Highlights from the event include: ⏲ Meaningful Break: "Dedicating half a day to focus on something as meaningful as appreciation really refreshed our spirits and deepened our connections." 😆Insights and Laughter: "Learning about our peers through the creative process of assembling Legos offered insights into personalities and work styles, all amidst shared laughter." 💖 Joy of Giving and Receiving: "The excitement of receiving a Lego flower, chosen and built by an anonymous colleague, brought smiles all around. The reveal of the builders added a wonderful surprise element." 🌹 Eternal Flowers: "These Lego flowers are a lasting reminder of our appreciation for each other, unlike real flowers, they won’t fade away but continue to symbolize our gratitude." ✅ Collective Fun: "Even with the focus needed to build our flowers, the atmosphere was filled with fun, highlighting the strength of our teamwork and camaraderie." The "Gratitude in Bloom, Celebrating You" event was more than just an activity; it was a manifestation of our ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of appreciation and recognition.
