Sharing Hands A Respite Experience was the proud beneficiary this past week of an internal donation incentive offered by XTO Energy Permian Basin. Receiving a generous donation in the amount of $1270, all funds stay local and will apply toward Permian Basin families raising children with special needs as part of the SHARE mission and programs. Netting session with Broadreach 🤩 🤝 Last week we did another netting session at Ascension, and this time, students from Broadreach joined us to assist. During the netting, we caught turtles for our capture-recapture research to monitor the population. 😕 Sadly, our sessions have shown that many turtles at Ascension suffer from fibropapillomatosis. ❗️You can help us save these sea turtles by donating so we can take them in for treatment.
