Obviously, Ja Morant's comeback and leadership have been key to the Memphis Grizzlies' winning streak. Last night was no different against the New Orleans Pelicans when he scored a game-high 31 points in close to 40 minutes. And even though both teams shot the exact same all around FG percentage (43.3%), the Grizzlies shot a very serious 84.4% (27/32), on the Free Throw line, missing just five shots, while the Pelicans shot 63.6% (21/33) missing twelves shots total, therefore missing 7 more points in the bank, while still shooting one more free throw than the Grizzlies, a stat that matters when you lose after overtime. You want another interesting stat? Jaren Jackson Jr, shot 9/10 on the line; a superb 90%, that we would expect to happen more often in the league. What's funny about it is that the ONLY free throw he missed was when he had the opportunity to take the lead on his final attempt with 0.4 sec left to make his team win...talk about dealing with emotions. How do you prepare your players to perform on the free throw line regularly? How do you prepare your players to perform on the free throw line, when it's clutch time? Staff, coaches and players work too hard to keep losing games because of free throws. If your a major league pitcher in the starting rotation on an MLB team. Your instinctive enough to make adjustments if your throwing balls to get your arm angle back into the strike zone. If your not that, you won’t remain in the rotation and probably outta baseball. Same with VO. If your a working Pro for years your aware of how to make adjustments, how to communicate whether it’s via social media, email, by way of your posts, by your yearly working agenda. How you communicate, it’s a career path of many needed adjustments, moves, joining multiple rotations. Consistently working VO talent like a Pitcher in the starting rotation, understand the adjustments needed to remain in the booth, like MLB starting Pitchers who go to the mound. #vo
