Elliott Hill career journey is nothing short of inspiring! 🌟 From intern to CEO of Nike, the #1 apparel brand in the world 😎 This highlights how certain companies are paving the way for non-linear, fast-tracked career paths, showing that with the right environment, growth has no limits. 🚀 In the #telecom #industry, where innovation and rapid change are the norm, it's crucial for #businesses to not only #attract #toptalents but also to provide #opportunities for dynamic #growth and #development. In the U.S, career progression tends to focus on merit, results, experience, and hard work are often what drives success. In France, however, there can be a stronger emphasis on degrees and formal qualifications, and sometimes internal dynamics play a bigger role in career development. Jean D’ormesson used a very accurate word which is #inaptocratie, referring to a system where those in power are often the least competent, resulting in inefficiency and stagnation So here’s the real challenge: How can we, as leaders in the telco space, leverage these models to offer more meaningful career progression, while also meeting the evolving expectations of talent in our industry? How do you think we can better shape the future of career development in telecom and beyond? 💡💬 #CareerGrowth #TelecomLeadership #TalentDevelopment #InternalMobility #Innovation #EmployeeEngagement

I often get asked what my favorite thing about Leland is and I answer the same every time: hands down, it's the team. This team is the most hardworking, scrappy, humble, and intelligent group of people I've come across in the state, and it leads to a culture where you can deeply respect and admire each one of your colleagues, learn from them, and push each other to be better. We're "dolphins in shark costumes" -- genuinely kind, good-to-the-core people who will also run through a brick wall if that's what it takes to win... and we're looking for more like us!! We're hiring for both technical and growth/ops roles, with full-time and internship opportunities. If you or someone you know fits this description, comment on this post or send me a note. I'd appreciate it if you'd help me get the word out by sharing it with your networks as well. Come be a part of something that matters with a team that will make it happen. *Warning: Side effects of working at Leland may include ruining your appetite to work anywhere else because nothing will ever be as good. Do proceed with caution.

Sales jobs are often looked down upon in startups, and I find that so surprising. This is the skill that helped me raise $1.5 million for Cosmofeed History shows that no company can sail without sales. Take Intel vs. AMD as an example. AMD had a better product but couldn't compete with Intel. Simply because Intel had better business development and marketing teams. I am proud to say that I did my undergrad internship in sales. I did my MBA internship and later job role in sales in Australia and Singapore. The skills I acquired back then are what allowed me to bring so many people together. Sales professionals are storytellers, connectors, and problem-solvers. For me - they are a jack of all trades as they have the unique ability to understand a client's pain points, dreams, and goals thereby building trust, not just by speaking, but by truly listening and empathising. Every "no" they hear is not a rejection but a step closer to understanding their client's needs better. Imagine the countless hours spent researching, the persistence in follow-ups, and the creativity in presenting solutions tailored to each client. It’s all about the human connection, the genuine care for helping someone solve their problems, and the relentless drive to make a difference. For them it's not about those small wins but moreso has to do with the learning and findings from every setback they get. That sets them apart from others and that’s courage and bravery -> to stand up back and keep pushing and go for that next call. So today, I am calling out to all those winners who want to do things differently and take pride in being a terrific storyteller. If you have it in you - Shoot us your application at careers@cosmofeed.com with the subject line 'SALES,' and make sure you tell your story well. I am eagerly waiting to hear from you! #hiring #linkedInjobs #LinkedIn #sales #jobposting #growth #business

5 things we learnt from our Gen Z summer intern... The summer is over and we are gutted that our amazing intern Issy has now left us for a little while, she has been a ray of sunshine in the office and absolutely not the stereotype of Gen Z we were expecting. Curious, confident and definitely not afraid of hard work or a landline phone... But she has made us reflect and we’ve take a moment to consider the unique perspectives and insights she has brought to our team. Here are the top five things we’ve learned from our Gen Z intern. 💚 The Power of Authenticity - Gen Z values authenticity. Issy highlighted how genuine communication, whether it’s in marketing messages, brand identity, or workplace culture is really important. This reminded us to stay true to our mission and values in both external and internal comms. - Lesson: People can sense when a brand or message is disingenuous, and Gen Z won’t hesitate to call it out. 💛 Digital Natives Bring Digital Solutions - Gen Z have grown up fully immersed in technology, Issy demonstrated a natural aptitude for digital tools and platforms. And introduced us to a couple of tools, that helped streamline processes and improve our digital outreach. - Lesson: The future is digital, embracing new tools and staying on top of digital trends is crucial for staying competitive. 💜 Work-Life Balance is a Priority - Unlike previous generations that may have glorified hustle culture, our Gen Z understand the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Productivity doesn’t mean working longer hours but working smarter and ensuring there’s time for personal growth, mental health, and well-being. - Lesson: Supporting employees' work-life balance is not only better for individual well-being but also leads to greater long-term productivity. Our summer intern from Gen Z has taught us a lot in just a few months. As we move forward, these lessons will help shape our business strategy and culture, ensuring we stay relevant and appealing to the next generation of leaders. THANK YOU ISSY for an amazing Summer! We can't wait for you to come back to McCarthy towers for the next holidays. #GENZ #Culture #Workculture #recruitment #hiring #worklifebalance #productivity #employerbranding
