India's burgeoning innovation landscape has taken another significant step forward with the partnership between the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). This collaboration aims to export India's successful innovation models to developing nations and foster a global culture of innovation. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted India's innovation prowess, emphasizing the potential of this partnership to unlock global innovation potential. The collaboration will also focus on enhancing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) awareness, starting from the school level. India's growing stature as an innovation hub is evident in its consistent rise in the Global Innovation Index (GII). The country has registered six consecutive years of growth in patent filings, a testament to its thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. AIM, under the aegis of NITI Aayog, has been instrumental in cultivating this culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across the nation. As the European Union’s country with the longest coastline, Greece has successfully leveraged its geographic potential, emerging as the largest ship-owning nation in the world. Shipping makes up 8% of the Greece’s GDP. Greece takes active part in international maritime security initiatives like EUNAVFOR ATALANTA, as well as plays an crucial role in shaping the EU’s maritime security agenda. EU’s adoption of the EU Maritime Strategy in 2014 occurred under the Greek presidency.
