How do you do? Networking is at the center of just about everything we do. We have opportunities to meet new people all day everyday. Do you take advantage of these opportunities or do you just go about your day? Have you ever thought of pausing from your day to have a conversation for someone instead of just a transaction? Why don't you try it this week? Take a few extra minutes out of your day to have a conversation with someone you have an interaction with. You never know what it could lead to. #vetsos #veteran #veterans #veteranshelpingveterans #veterantransition #military #militaryspouse #militaryspouses #militarytransition #transtioningmilitary #transitioningveteran #transitioningservicemember
I’m doing well, just busy with all of our events! I don’t mind transactional conversations because most of them end up helping other veterans or spouses. My name is Elizabeth, and AF veteran, Navy Military-spouse, and current program manager for the Veteran and Military Family Employment Team at a career center in NW Florida! I’m to connect with other veterans and military spouses.
Nothing like finding time to have a conversation with a connection or someone new.
As a creative person, I have lots of ideas. I can't execute on all of them at my company or in my life (just ask Nila) but talking to others and learning about their goals for their life or business, gives me an outlet for my creativity and service to others. You never know how it will be paid forward.
Networking is indeed a powerful tool in both personal and professional growth. Taking the time to connect with others on a deeper level can open doors to unexpected opportunities and meaningful relationships.
Meeting people with no expectation is when you'll find the greatest benefits.
As the experts say... "Work hard, but network harder." Let's make it a daily goal to make more meaningful interactions.
Networking's a funny thing, isn't it? Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the day and forget to really connect with the people around us. But you're onto something, those small moments of genuine conversation can lead to some unexpected and awesome opportunities!
you know me Shawn Welsh, I network everywhere. You are right, we have to be intentional and seize opportunities to meet new people. We are only as strong as our network, that is why I created the Hounds Of Business Community
Our platform and growing army of affiliate marketers help businesses who serve SME's generate dramatically more revenue.
4moShawn, I have found that meeting new folks without a pre-conceived agenda can lead to some pretty wonderful places.
