I think we need to start helping our clients to understand the true value we can all offer to schemes, partnerships have to be a true two way street. Our advice can save hundreds of thousands of pounds on schemes, if asked and engaged at the right time. Our profit margins are not designed to offer a risk element to our works. The majority of the time we win work because we are already the lowest bidder, it’s time this type of practice came to an end, or an offer of significant win bonus, then we can make informed decisions.
