Question about #googlereviews from past employees. I am wondering if our team handled this situation correctly. We recently fired an employee. The employee then came back along with her family members and posted terrible reviews for our business. I believe our team really fights for every good review and tries to support each other so to have a past employee post negative content is really disheartening. There are different perspectives to every story but from our management's view, this employee appeared to enjoy workplace drama, open criticism, and devalued true teamwork. Each team member was asked to set goals for personal development and this employee stated they didn't need to improve in any area. When the manager in charge finished the exit interview, management called and was very emotional because it was a tough call to make. Overall, I do believe our #team is better positioned now but it appears to have come at a cost for everyone as in it was less than a zero-sum game. Question: What is the best course of action to remediate the situation where an employee who is being fired is about to become a customer? What steps do you take after receiving negative public feedback? Do you follow up again with the employee and try to rectify the situation or just let it go and let the comments stand?

I HAVE A LEGIT QUESTION ABOUT #donations! For me personally, it has been a guessing game. For #businessowners and managers, the requests for donations and handouts are relentless (LIKE EVERY FREAKING DAY!). Don't get me wrong, I want to support your 3vs3 tournament and your women's retreat. However, we are not Elon Musk and have a finite amount to allocate towards groups or events. Maybe I am looking at this wrong, but a donation kind of feels like an #investment in you or your organization.  THE QUESTION IS THIS - Has anyone come up with an equation/budget or philosophy on which programs they pursue for donations? For example, I donated $300 to an elementary school fun run given our logo was going to be on 500 t-shirts. So okay I guess?

Did you know you are paying for my #fuel? You may look at the attached reciept and say, "Jeez Shay, that really sucks for you!" I mean it is eating into my working capital but YOU are footing part of my bill. My fuel surcharge is kicking in at 3.25/gallon. A few years ago, we started a company hauling dirt and asphalt. We run a couple of trucks at this point. When we started out, my fuel receipts were never above $130/truck for the day. Now, it is a good day if a truck comes home without spending $300 at the pump. The thing is, YOU are paying the bill for difference in my fuel costs. I pass the bill to the contractor who forwards onto you. If diesel is above 3.25/gallon in Utah, you are footing the difference. Not me. If we are hauling asphalt for roads, I pass the bill to the government who pays using your taxes. The fuel bill is directed at more than just dirt an asphalt, it applies to your #Amazon purchases and grocery store items. Everything! It kind of seems like our #economy is on a suicidal path and nobody is raising their hand to ask any questions. #POLITICS

Wells shut down their branches during Covid. Applications were taken online then underwritten by someone who was probably working remotley. I gotta disagree 100% with this post. Mortgage underwriting guidelines won't let you discrimate against ethnicity. It is all based on numbers. If you don't qualify, you don't qualify especially after 2008. You know this. Wells is actually doing a pretty sweet job cleaning up after all the bad publicity they have experienced and is one of the most ethically diverse banks in the US.

Isn't it interesting how most of the senior VP's issuing credit approvals/denials for businesses have never actually owned a business?

With everyone wearing masks in 2020, did bank robberies increase in the US? Due to #covid19impact, banks mandated that everyone entering a branch needed to wear a mask. So it would be pretty easy pickings, right? If you HAVE to wear a mask, why not also throw some shades on and make a day out of it. And who doesn't want to be part of a heist? Check out this data from the FBI. It is super surprising. Robberies actually decreased by 37%. I am super curious as to why. Maybe due to government handouts?
