#MetaAI Warns You Not To Trust #AI Sources For #News! Ever since #Google's AI Overview took over, or perhaps even before that with Suggestions, users tend to not click on news sources and simply consume whatever AI is throwing up as the top #Search result, claiming it to be a news-in-nutshell nugget. As #Meta rolled out its Llama 3-trained Meta AI on WhatsApp and other platforms last week, I decided to ask the chatbot itself if it can be trusted. Surprise, surprise (or perhaps not too much of a surprise if you're a sceptic like me), this is what Meta AI blurted out: "I'm not perfect... Remember, I'm a general-knowledge AI, not a news agency. If you need in-depth, real-time news coverage, consider consulting trusted news sources directly." Even a recent Reuters study found out that news readers are slowly losing faith in AI summaries, simply because they are finding it increasingly hard to trust them. So, next time you decide to trust MetaAI, or Gemini, or any other AI as such for your daily dose of news, think again. Check out my so-called 'Interview with the AI' as I asked Meta AI about its sources, its training, and if Meta is indeed paying news sources for content. Here's all you need to hear from the (AI) horse's mouth: https://bit.ly/3xPcTH1 For more thought provokers and analyses, stay tuned to ABP Live #ABPLivePremium
